Dock Port of La Libertad

So much to unpack here. Renewed pier is just amazing. You can tell money has been dumped in this place. Watching the construction move so quickly without disrupting the business near by is awesome.
I found a lot of great things here, and the fish market was great, but I highly suggest you to look around before you buy from the first shop. So many options, look for the cleanest with fresh looking products.
All the restaurants look so modern and up to date. Great day for a day date, night date and a sunset date. All the dates lol. Prices are American prices, so no surprises there. People go around singing, it’s 3 songs for $20
According to what we were told, you can walk around with a drink in your hand, I’m sure they pour it in a clear plastic cup or something. I didn’t see anyone with it but we did ask. Lots of options and the sunset park is right there. Highly suggest this to be a pit stop for you on your travel itinerary if you are in the area. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but great experience.

Definitely a must visit. Especially right before sunset. There is also a sea food market right next to the pier once you walk off. Definitely recommend stopping there for a some fresh ceviche. Yummy! BTW, none of these pictures were edited - it's just that beautiful.

I'm not from El Salvador but I love how the beach and ocean make you feel. The worst part about Port La Libertad is leaving. Lots of great memories to take with me though.

Interesting place to visit and get fresh sea food, walk at the malecón, enjoy some local ice cream (minuta), enjoy lunch $, $$, $$$, the beach, just relax!

I always wanted to go and finally was able to do . Great tourist destination from mangos ,seafood and a great view also music.

This is a completely changed place from 10 years ago. It's safe, secure and modern, while still having dockside tiendas. Fair prices for fresh tasty seafood!!

This place is just one of those old times classic! It brings me back to my childhood!! I like to see the fishing boats bring back today's catch!!!

Well renovated, clean and every possible fish you can think of, is there.
The fisherman will clean and cut the fish at your request for a minimum fee.

Good place to walk around and people watch. There are a variety of restaurants around the area that specialize in seafood dishes. Parking was $4 in one of the lots adjacent to the pier.
