Renovation of Mogadishu Stadium is currently ongoing. The African Union forces (AMISOM) vacated the Mogadishu National Stadium on Tuesday 28th August 2018, ending close to a decade stay in the facility after it flushed out the militant group Al-Shabaab September 6, 2011.
