Jaamacadda Cadduun

The Addoun University (AU) is a community university initially started in Galkacyo, Somalia in 2012. The university is registered with the Puntland Ministry of Education & Higher Education and has been developing and expanding since its inception, which started with the enrollment of 40 students. Currently the university has 430 full time students studying different disciplines. The AU University is committed to spreading beneficial knowledge that is easily affordable and will benefit not only individual students, but also empower entire communities. The university provides equal opportunity for all students and makes earning a degree a real possibility even for the neediest of students. Students can benefit from the accredited degrees in various fields of study. The main campus of the university is located in Galkacyo city, Puntland State of Somalia and has own building with classroom block, Auditorium, Administration and Finance block, library, Health Science Lab, and Academic staff Residence Block. The University also has another strategically located 3 acres of land in the northern suburbs of Galkacyo for future development.
