Beautiful top-notch place. Strong historic vibes and this is how a proper reconstruction of old historic buildings is done. Beautiful design, combination of history, and contemporary comfortable design. This is an homage to the strong history and meaning this place had. The service was 5* as well, super friendly and professional. Modern clean wellness/spa. Also we made a one day ski trip to near by ski resort (15 min drive).

Lovely stay at the Hotel, beautiful location. Our friends had their wedding reception here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The health spar is great. The food at breakfast and dinner was very tasty. The only thing that was missing was a child’s menu in the restaurant and had to request something off menu for my 2 year old child, which wasn’t a problem as the staff was every helpful and able to accommodate use. When we stayed it was in the low to mid 30c and the rooms don’t have air conditioning so it was a bit warm in the room, but bearable. Would definitely stay again. Room 6. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

We have just stopped for a coffee. The place is very nice, neat and clean. The stuff was super nice, made us and our dogs (we were sitting outside) feel welcome. The location is very pleasant.

Very nicely restored historical building, great staff who is ready to help all the time. Room was spacoius, nicely decorated, high standards of amenities. Spa was good, great views to garden. Breakfast was mostly served, food was of high quality. Same applied to dinner we had, great food, nice wine list.
Small points to improve - blinds on windows in the room which did not worked as too much light was coming in in the morning, bit noise coming from the road, TV remote too fancy but difficult to understand.
Overall very good stay, would definitelly come back.

Food was amazing, everything served had been cooked to perfection and presentation was superb.
Service was really warm and personal, felt like you are welcome there and they really know what they were doing.

Whole area was renovated with an emphasis on details, and you can enjoy a great lunch and dinner here.

You can taste here international cuisine, where the emphasis is mainly put on fresh and local ingredients. The perfect culinary experience must not lack the best quality wine, which we have personally selected and tested directly in the wineries, where the wine is grown and produced. The restaurant is located in the house of Amalia de Adda, which was originally a former stable.

What an absolute treasure among the soul-less hotel chains and independently owned places forever stuck in the past decades.
To see the place before the restoration years ago and now took our breath away. The exclusive and limited availability adds to this gem even more value. Definitely check before you make your travel arrangements to avoid disappointment. We have visited the hotel mid-week on Wednesday only for the one-night experience. From the first moment when you arrive at the entry gate, you can feel this is no ordinary place to stay.
The staff was wonderful, smiley, friendly, warm and made us feel like we are one of the long-time regular guests. Welcome drinks came as surprise as it is not something you see a lot in Slovakia. Clearly the owners travelled a bit more than just to Bratislava to learn the level of hospitality is now around the world from the best places to stay.
The quality of the hotel building, room, wellness and whole restoration of the manor-house is impeccable and no surprise it took the owners more than 10 years to get it done.
Wellness is cute, small little space of the relax heaven on its own neatly tucked next to the lobby area with a great view outside through oversized windows. The place is ideal for the events and special occasions due to its countless options to capture the unique moments in beautiful surroundings indoors or outdoors.
Fine dining restaurant adds to the whole experience lovely touch. Personally, I think there is a potential to have a Michelin star as well If desired by the owners and the team. The cooking style is seasonal, simple and focused to please not only your pallet but all your senses. It reminds me a little bit of cooking of great British Chef William Drabble. However, if you prefer the more local and rustic way of dining, you may find the portions way too small, sophisticated and delicate. The wine cart to complement the simple menu offered low to mid-range priced bottles of the wines from their preferred winemakers. No big pricey names but rather more settle selection of the most desirable bouquets to meet demand.
All in all, our stay was among the best we had in years from all trips we did so far around the globe. Considering the location, the market, the state of the place before and the challenges of the current hospitality climate this hotel is way ahead of others in Slovakia when comes to quality even beyond the Slovakia border.
We left the place with the promise that we will definitely be back in the future. This hotel is simply special, and you can feel the energy and love which have been invested to transform neglected old ruins into a truly magical place to stay.

They offer plant-base milk as substitutes to your coffee (almond, oat). There are no other vegan food offers though.

An unusually well thought through reconstruction of a historic building, a manner house with stables into a spa, winery, event hotel with a micheline style restaurant.

Amazing place in medieval style. It had been reconstructed for a 10 years and it was worth it. I recommend to visit or to organise a wedding there. Lovely place.

I visited the delightful place whilst on business and I can highly recommend it for it charm and service in every way and the restaurant is magnificent with the chief presenting the food at the table, simply exquisite 6 stars
