Mačkafé

I visited during Easter 2024 with some friends who, like me, also love;e cats. The place feels warm and cozy, the waitresses were friendly and seemed to care about their work, and the coffee and desserts were very good. One important thing, though, that might upset some people is that they only receive cash; they seem to be a non-profit for cat-rescuing, so giving money away to large payment networks might not be worth it. With respect to the cats, they are friendly and come to play with the guests (when they feel like it) and the waitresses even give you tips to play with them. Also don't forget to tip!!!

A very nice place with lovely and fluffy cats. The staff is very friendly and kind. The souvenirs are also lovely, especially the ones with the drawing with the cats in front of the castle. Till now this is the nicest catcaffe I visited compared to Wien, Prague and Bucharest ones.

If you are a cat lover then visit to Mačkafé is must. Great coffee and cakes, the staff is very polite and attentive. And off course many kitos to welcome you :)

Rich options of drinks.

It is a nice place to take a break from the city noise. You are in good company here. The items are affordable, the coffee is hot, the cakes are sweet and the cats are cute and affectionate, especially Izzy.

Its a cafe with cats :-) I think I counted 7 cats (or maybe 6), some sleeping, some walking about, some waiting to be fed, one (in the photo) being naughty trying to lick plates clean. They all seem pretty happy & friendly. Also good milkshakes.

Very good cafe, cats are very well looked after, no hard sell. Hostess was very helpful and kind.
Cats are free to walk around and have escape areas if they want no fuss. It's very quiet and peaceful.

Good coffee and people say working on laptops whilst cats roam and play.

All cats are very well groomed. Just popped by this cat cafe as it is just nearby my hotel. Staff was friendly and nice. This is a cash only cafe.

Upon finding out that this cat cafe exists in Bratislava, I was even more motivated to make a day trip to the city. What a gem! The cafe is so cozy and makes you feel relaxed and happy. The food is yummy (especially the lemonades and the cakes) and the hot chocolate was really cute, as well as delicious. The cats are really active in the evening and were super playful and friendly. The organization of the cafe has helped and treated all the cats that live there now, and they are so well socialized. The staff is also very friendly and the music played was good. I hope to come back one day, as it is one of the best cat cafes I’ve been to in Europe so far.

The Mačkafé cat café is one of the best I've visited across multiple countries (Lithuania, Poland, Austria, Romania, etc.).
The food & drink is good, the staff are welcoming, the prices are reasonable, and the cats... are as friendly as anywhere I've been :-) The staff love their cats and treat them well, so the cats love the humans too.

A place that is a "must" for all cat lovers visiting Bratislava 🐈‍⬛🥰
And a reminding word to those self-entitled parents who complain about "being kicked out" in Karen-like style: if YOU and your children READ and FOLLOW THE RULES given by the owner, you won't get kicked out next time. If you play nicely, you get treated nicely. As simple as that. You also like it when people visiting you and your home, follow your rules and are well-behaved, right?

Unique place, cool décor, delicious hot chocolate, the cats are mostly calm, just watch your drink/cake when it arrives! ;)

It was lovely place. My wife found this place and we went there without thinking since we’re a cat lover. Cats are adorable, drinks were great as well. Cool vibes and cozy atmosphere. One of the staff was super friendly and she can speak Indonesian! She used to live in Indonesia and we hope to see her again. Definitely will come back! One of the best thing I did when I was in Bratislava! Cheers!

I visited yesterday with my 10 month old grandson. He loved watching all the cats. It was a very popular cafe, quite busy. But after it got quiet he was able to crawl around and see the rescued cats. Lovely, friendly staff, all spoke English. Delicious drinks. It’s been difficult finding places to go with a baby where they can get out of buggy and crawl!

The people that work there are very kind and the menu offers many special drinks.
The best thing about this place of course is the cats!! They seem very independent so if you want to pet them you need to follow them around 😺

Lovely place full of friendly people and cats. We had only drinks, but enjoyed both coffee and lemonades. Would love to come back when in Bratislava.

I love cats, and unlike other comments, I found the staff that were really nice and gentle. During the duration of my stay, all the cats were sleeping so I let them be. But at the end, after I paid, a cat jumped towards me... it was the best moment of my life.
