This place is truly a paradise, I am not exaggerating. A restaurant that has great food and you will want to come to everyday every lunch or dinner. We tasted these things with my friend: creamy garlic soup, Slovak platter, potato dumplings, sausage, homemade cips and amazing beer. Sorry beers (: All traditional foods were great. None of them disappointed us. You should definitely taste these all Slovak cuisine.

In this authentic pub in the center of Bratislava, you can taste typical dishes of slovakian cuisine! The place is really nice, with wooden interior and cozy atmosphere. Staff is friendly and polite. The food is delicious and served in generous portions! We loved the cabbage soup, the garlic soup, the traditional gnocchi with sheep cheese and butter, potato dumplings, pork chunks and goulash!! Of course, don't forget to accompany your meal local draft beer, dark or lager 👌🏻👌🏻. The prices are very reasonable too.

If I could give more stars I would! Slovak Pub was recommended to me by a tour guide and what a recommendation it was. The atmosphere was amazing, each room has its own story, I was in the poet room. You can find your own table and the waiter will come to you. The waiter was wonderful, he went through the menu with recommendations, I chose the garlic soup and the taster for one. Both were amazing, I was told these are traditional meals. I couldn’t finish them all! I got 10% off with my Bratislava card. Was reasonably priced though. My only regret is not buying a wooden postcard to be posted out to me.

We had to wait a bit but it is definitely worth it. The waiter was really kind and the atmosphere was brilliant. We had onion soup which was the best and platter for two and chicken and cheese inside a bread. All food was fantastic but very cheesy so you should drink some good beers with them

This place is a MUST VISIT for me. It is not that the food is exceptional and their prices are very good, you also get the whole historical experience and friendliness form the people that work there. We ate so much that at some point we couldn’t breathe. The food was handmade not prepared in advance and frozen like other restaurants in the area. I love a local place with honest hard working people. Each dish had a special meaning and our waiter Michael made sure we knew. This guy went above and beyond to make our experience amazing and for me this shows how much he values the people around him. Michael I said it before but I have to state it again, keep making people happy with your stories and your smile. You are a unique amazing human being.

Really loved this pub. Not too expensive, and a wide array of Slovakian food. Service was fast, food was good, and overall just had very traditional/kind of medieval vibes. I loved it. Would recommend if you're visiting the old town as a tourist for sure.

Nice cozy place, they were actually using firewood.

The portions were big & the waitresses friendly. Kofola - think of it as a local version of coke - is also amazing

Price was good given portion size

Delicious food, especially the bryndzové halušky. The cabbage soup was perfect for a cold day. The service was a bit cold, but prompt and efficient so I can't complain. The restaurant itself was quite interesting (if a bit empty when I went). All in all, very reasonably priced and a delicious meal. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is located in a very big old house, it has lots of rooms and the space is very nice, traditional. The serving is nice, the waiter was kind. We waited a little for our lunch but it was full. The menu is traditional, you have plenty dishes to choose from. Soups, meat, fish, traditional dishes. The plates were not full , it looked like we won t have enough, but the portions were enough to be satisfied. The prices were ok. I would go back again.

Great place with great local food and reasonable prices! We went here during a short trip to Bratislava after seeing the place featured on YouTube. The garlic soup was fantastic, so creamy and delicious, served in bread with melted cheese so it was like cheesy garlic bread! The place is in an old historic building and it's really interesting as you come upstairs into the restaurant.

Slovak pub is definetely a restaurant you have to try if you're visiting Bratislava!

Not only the food is delicious, but the prices are very good and they product some of their ingredients in their own farm. If you wanna eat something traditional you could try cabbage soup (might be the best soup of my life to be honest!!) or bryndzove halusky. The beer is also very good.
Nice stuff.
Huge place.
Amazing atmosphere and decor. We loved everything about it.

In general, we paid between 65-85 euros for 4 persons with tips included.

Great friendly service in a rambling establishment above street level. Each room has a different theme with differentadornments and decorations on the walls. The checkered tablecloths add to the atmosphere of the place.
Had a great time and world definitely revisit the Pub. Prices are very reasonable

Unbelievable authentic Slovak Pub that we found thanks to other great reviews. Prices were reasonable compared to the other places in the area. A very cool atmosphere where you literally feel like you walked into a time warp & were transported to simpler times! I highly recommend you make the walk out of the busy hustle bustle expensive joints and make your way to this Pub!

We adjusted our route from Vienna to Budapest so we could stop in Bratislava. While there, we stopped at the Slovak Pub for lunch and WOW! We ordered the Slovak Platter for 2, featuring pirogis, halusky, and potato dumplings with cabbage and bacon. We also ordered the garlic cheese soup in a bread bowl. Honestly, everything was an amazing mix of flavors and textures. I can't recommend the food enough. The atmosphere was really authentic and welcoming. The only small complaint is that while the soup was served almost immediately, it took a very long time to get our platter. To give rhem the benefit of the doubt, the place was packed when we arrived. When we tasted the food, it was definitely worth the wait! Highly recommend!

This restaurant and pub has been a must visit place to enjoy slovak traditional food. The halusky or potato dumpling is good. Slovak sheep cheese or bryndza is all over the menu. It is great to try local food everywhere we go. Came here on our one day trip from vienna. The old town bratislava has a lot to explore
