Starý cintorín Kamenné pole

Jeden zo zrušených cintorínov, kde sa už dávno nepochováva. Aj tak by si toto miesto tým, že tu stále je a už z úcty k mŕtvym zaslúžilo, aby bolo možno symbolicky ohradené. Dá sa pochopiť, že nie je jednoduché takéto miesto zrušiť, premiestniť. Je nepochopiteľné ako niektoré hyeny v ľudskej koži si takéto miesto mýli zo skládkou odpadu a vysype tam celý kontajner. A ostatný ľudia, čo si tade robia skratku do obchodov nemajú vari tiež príbuzných na cintorínoch? To tiež šľapú aj tam po cudzích hroboch?

This is the originally unmarked burial place of my great-grandmother, Zuzana “Bubra” Balážová, who was killed along with her husband and unborn twins when Nazis attacked the Roma settlement that’s a 5-10-minute walk from this cemetery. It currently houses hundreds of people, yet it is shown as an entirely empty spot on Google maps - this despite most of the dwellings being built by the government, which continues to sorely neglect the location. My grandmother’s brother and other Roma relatives fought in the resistance during World War II—this, too, has been erased by the powers that be. At least two of grandma’s siblings and other family members were taken to concentration camps; many Roma died the same day as Bubra. I hope that the city maintains what little dignity her gravesite has had.

Zvláštní pohřebiště, téměř neoznačené. Lokace působí až hororově, odpadky v blízkém okolí.
