Ružinov brewery Komín

Easy to reach via tram 9 from the centre then a short walk, this brewpub can be seen from afar due to the huge chinmey above it; just head for the chimney! The brewkit is inside the bar and the beers it produces are some of the best in town; they vary from classic Czech-style lagers to modern sours and IPAs, all well priced and very tasty. The staff don't speak much English - expected this far out of town - but are helpful and firendly. Overall I'm a big fan of this place, and the area around it with a local's market is interesting too.

Food ws great, and the beers are perfect to follow up. Friendly staff, solid place to visit. Reasonable prices, good deal.

Wonderful place to hop on by when in Ružinov. Whrn I lived in the district I'd often go down to Komín for Sunday lunch to have Sviečková & Knedla or dumplings. It's such a little vibey place with wonderful staff, a cozy industrial interior steeped in history and food to die for. This time around we went for my usual of Svieckova & Dumplings, and Duck leg with Lonkše (A sort of potato "naan"). Everything was delicious and more than worth the price! Would recommend for families & big groups since the tables here are huuuuge.

Big space and so not very noisy. Perfect beers, especially their own dark beers that are quite strong (14-15°).

I'm a fan of heavy, flavorful food and I was very satisfied here. Super tasty pork, ribs and of course dumplings. Great beer that looks to be brewed on site. I will be back.

Service was good, English menu and waiter spoke, too. He advised us about their beers. Food was delicious, especially salad with goat cheese. It was the only restaurant in the area with kitchen open till 21 on Sunday night.

Fantastic dining experience, great service, and every beer on the menu has double-digit ABV! If you happen to be in town for business or pleasure, Komin is an absolute must.

Everything we tried from the menu was excellently prepared and presented, the beers were both delicious and effective, what else to say?

If you can get a table then it’s well worth a visit. Both the beer and food are great. It has a bustling, vibrant atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Ring ahead to reserve though to avoid disappointment.

I have to say that I have never had as good non-alcoholic beer before. Kudos! Soup was exquisite (beef/chicken/noodles)! For main meal we had Cordon bleu - which is a simple food, and this was done with real TLC, chips and sauce very tasty. I was recommended their Catfish, which I will definitely try next time! Love this waiter, so friendly, nothing is a problem, recommends you stuff - like they do in Czech rep (where I like service better compared to SK. Sorry to say that, being Slovak). BTW once here - check out the Mileticova market, its almost a historical place, connected to life in 80'90'. Has its atmosphere.

Good food with even better beer menu. Both their own beer Komín, and external craft beer brands - mostly Slovak and Czech breweries. Currently not possible to pay by card - cash only.

What an amazing place! Amazing atmosphere and lovely staff, they gave us a little taster of their beers and let us choose. Food also to die for!

A kind of a different pub finally. I have enjoyed this short stop a lot. We went for steak tartar and couple beers. Friendly staff. Definitely a good place to go.

Very good restaurant/bar. I don't like very many places in Bratislava, but this one is incredible. Unbelievably nice staff, awesome food served at 00:03, great beer, design and whole look of this space is very original. Not too big, so even if it is full you can hear yourself.

My favourite beer restaurant in Bratislava. You can get beer in a liter glass which also comes with a quantity discount. The food is great, especially their sirloin in cream is among the best you can get in Bratislava.

Nice place, great beer and tasty beef tartare. I was a driver that evening therefore i was drinking non-alcoholic beer only. Its their own recipe and you can't find more tasty non-alcoholic beer. Really good one!

There didn't put any stars on the food, because they didn't sell it, but otherwise it was great!😁😁😁
