Amor Slovakia Reviews

I recommend this store. As a returning customer, I've visited several times to purchase various jewelry items for my wife. I appreciate the selection; though it's small, there are always interesting finds. What impresses me most is their customer service. On one occasion, my wife didn't like the earrings I bought, and we spent two hours in the store exchanging them with Gazil (salesmen). Most importantly, they made my wife happy with the new pieces they helped us select. In Bratislava, it's rare to find such good stores. worth a visit, start talking

Hilariously bad salesman. I had read that Slovakia produces opals and I thought Bratislava would be a good place to find some new earrings. At this shop, the young woman assistant was ready to help me and after I looked at four or five pairs of earrings, I asked if they had the similar piece in white. Then the man said to me, “But are you going to buy it? You’ve already looked at ten pieces. Are you going to buy something.” I walked out. I’m pretty sure they aren’t there to sell anything at this location. He was so rude it was really funny. Maybe go in there and see how rude you can make him. See how many pieces he will show you before you make him angry.

The owner Gezim is rude, unfriendly and very unprofessional.
I walked in knowing exactly what I was looking for. To begin was he was quite stand-off. Then, after I tried two rings and asked for matching earrings, while clearly explaining that they must match at least a stone of the chosen ring, he raised his voice in impatience and started showing me all sorts of other pieces which didn’t match my requirements even by 0.0001%. He was doing it without paying any attention to my objections.
I am an experienced and well trained saleswoman and I always wonder how these unprofessional and uneducated owners of $$$$ stores survive in modern days’ economy when low cost fast fashion/food prevails and the money for expensive pieces are scarce…?
Anyway, he lost a $1500 sale because I’m not coming back although I fell in love with one of the rings he had.
Good luck to you, Gezim. Hope one day you learn and master your customer service and sales technique!

Awful shop, terrible customer service and questionable quality jewellery. However, my wife loved one expensive ring and was ready to buy it, but the owner Gezim ruined the sale with his rude and arrogant attitude.
Don’t buy anything from Gezim. You will not get a pleasure neither from the experience nor from the quality of his jewellery…

Unprofessional, unfriendly and even judgmental manager.
Apparently we didn't look fancy enough for him because i got the impression he thought we wouldn't buy anything anyway. The manager giving us weird looks (could be racist thing) and speaking Slovakian to his staff how we can't touching anything in a demeaning manner, assuming i wouldn't understand.
Also pretty rudely speaking to my friend "Are you going to buy the watch or what" as if she's a toddler.
Don't be suprised when customers don't come back.

I agree with the previous poor review. The salesman said that he would call when the ring was ready, but never did. When we contacted him, he was cold and rude. Upon returning to the shop to pick up the resized ring, the ring didn’t fit my finger, so I asked if he could check the size of the ring. The salesman immediately became defensive and very rude, saying that this was the first time a customer has asked to verify the size, and that something was probably wrong with my finger instead.
When the ring was placed on the ring-size tool, it was clearly half a size smaller than requested. He then denied it, and aggressively used both hands to try and forcefully push the ring down to the next mark, saying that it might damage the ring. Obviously, if you have to warn the customer that in order to demonstrate the “correct” ring size, you have to use a grown man’s strength and that it may damage it, something is wrong. He then said that he could resize it again, but that there would be an additional charge because only one sizing is included with the purchase (even though it was incorrectly sized).
Needless to say, his loud, rude tone and complete lack of professionalism, made me leave the shop with an incorrectly sized ring, sore finger, and a ruined memory of what should have been a celebratory occasion. This ring was for an anniversary gift, and I can only imagine the nightmare someone would go through if they chose to buy their engagement set here.
Buyers beware: save yourself the headache and disrespectful attitude, and pick a different jewelry shop.

Oplichter! Familielid kocht hier een verlovingsring met een robijn en diamantjes. Eenmaal terug in hun thuisland lieten ze de ring verifiëren: de zogezegde diamantjes zijn zirkonen en de robijn is geslepen glas.
