Železná Studnička

I go on walks up to Bufet Železná Studnička (Buffet Iron Well) all the time. It’s a nice and relaxing walk through nature that I reward myself with a break at the buffet. The staff is very nice and food is always tasty. Yesterday they had Guláš that was very tasty. They also offer coffee, tea, pastries, drought kofola, drought beer, vine, hot vine & some spirits, hot dogs, palacinky etc. you can pay with credit card. They have some indoor seating and ample outdoor seating.

Amazing place. Several trails available. Possible to walk or bike to Záhorská Bystrica or other areas of Bratislava. Several grill areas available and playgrounds. Great place for a family day, or a nature walk. You can spend the whole day there.

Wonderful place to enjoy nature and exercise. There are also cafes in different areas. Biking, hiking, and walking are great ways of enjoying the area.

Beautiful area for relax during all seasons relatively close to Bratislava city center (approx. 20 minutes by public transport).

There are couple of lakes there, places for barbecue, playgrounds and more.

Ideal for having a walk, cycling, or even ice-skating in the winter. You can get to Kamzik with cable car to enjoy the city view as well.

Have to see there in every season there you can find 4 small lakes and walking paths for hiking and running also bicycle route
Best thing is there is a cable car after the lakes you can go up and find a beautiful cafe to drink hot wine , soup or coffee.

I really like železná studnička because it's easy acess from the city and it's a nice green area around Bratislava. Good area for hiking and also enjoy barbecue with friends/family. There are private places you can rent for big groups or free spots you can use as well.

Nice place to go for a run/hike/bike ride.
Plenty of refreshment stops available and multiple destinations in reach.

Fresh as beautiful with deer around.

CONS: not enough free parking area | not accessible by car

Very nice place. You can pay with card. Prices are very friendly and food, drinks or cakes are very tasty. Home made lemonade, some glutenfree options, various milks for your cappucino. Recommended. :)

Beautitul place, a hidden gem of Bratislava. If u come, u would never guess its in the heart of the Capital

Great place not so far from the centre (easy to get there all the way with bus) and also not that close, so you get pretty much of fresh air and feel the nature in all her beauty. Suitable for family events, hikes, bike rides and also doing barbecue.

Very nice place for walking during sunny days. There are a lot of paths you can choose either in the forest or along the main road. It is possible to buy some refreshment here.
