This church is one of few catholic wooden churches in Slovakia, which makes it quite unique, and its history is also rather beautiful. For non-slovaks: Don't worry, there is also english commentary. The church is in the centre of a picturesque village surrounded by various old-fashioned houses and few old trees, so it might take a while to find it.

Beautiful piece of UNESCO, the church is all wood without a single nail... Interior is extremely cool, and exterior arround church is Also great, there's a chapel od saint mother of god... Really worth visiting..

Its worth to see. A wooden church in a quiet village. Its closed between 12am-1pm.

A beautiful and peaceful place where you can admire craftsmanship of the locals as well as surrounding landscape. Definitely worth to visit. In order to get in you have to call the phone number displayed outside.

Mimo sezóny lepšie si vopred zavolať a uistiť sa, hoci pôvodný mobil už neplatí, pani nám s ochotou dala nový kontakt na penzión FRANCESCO, kde je aj pani sprievodkyňa.

Hlavný oltár už na mieste, pani sprievodkyňa milá a ochotná.

Zabytek wpisany na listę UNESCO. Warto zobaczyć, malowidła na ścianie są piękną ozdobą całego wnętrza. Po drabinie można wejść na górną część kościoła i podziwiać cały ołtarz.
Obok kościoła mała niespodzianka, polecam zajrzeć do małych niebieskich domków gdzie można zobaczyć wyposażenie wnętrz, narzędzi, mebli z dawnych lat.
