Dunaj Brewery & Hotel

This place is with the best view on Danube river. Prices are very low regarding the quality local food you get. I was served quickly and got what I wanted even though I was particularly picky with stuff. The waitress was nice and gave me time. She also suggested a nice meal.
My daughter is vegetarian and they didn’t have an issue adapting the meal to her liking.
We had a nice walk afterward because the park is right next to the botel.
I have seen pics of botel rooms and will try this out once we are back in Bratislava. Also very cheap, but cozy and neat. Met a German couple in the lobby and they seemed to be happy about the choice.
Whether you need a business, romantic, or family lunch/dinner, this place seems to be the best so far in the old town.

Nice hotel perfectly positioned. Near by parking for free. Cosy rooms. The only problem was soft bed and no breakfast option.

Really nice unique hotel. Our room was really nice with an amazing view of the castle. Really quiet hotel room where we slept very well. About a 15-20min walk to the city centre and options to get bolt scooter or tram very close by the hotel. Would stay here again.

I didnt have a room. But i Was there having some beer. Very nice location on the Donau River. Nice view to Bratislava castle and Other interesting Things of Bratislava. The beer which is brewed on the Ship tastes very great. The Service was fast and friendly.

Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff, quick check-in, clean rooms (you can see it's not new hotel but it was ok). Restaurant was 4/5 - the beer is good. Breakfast also could be a little bit better. But the view? Outstanding. One of the best view in Bratislava.

I have been ordering the duck throughout the entire winter. It’s delicious! I love the fact that the meat’s flavor isn’t covered by some heavy spices or oranges etc. like some other restaurants tend to do.
After the pandemic is over, I definitely plan on stopping by and enjoying great food AND that amazing VIEW!

Very good restaurant and bar with their own beer: 11,5°(light beer), 14°(semi-dark) and 15°(dark beer) and also tasty meals. It gives really good feelings to drink, eat and simultaneously watch the water in Danube river 🤗
Staff is very friendly and ready to help and recommend everything you need👌🏻
We ate pulled beef in bun and pork ribs and drank all the types of Kapitan beer 😋😋

Excellent service, amazing food, we had a kulajda (mushroom soup) with great big mushroom pieces, salmon tartar, salmon pasta and burger and everything tasted excellent and was brought to us quite fast. In addition to that, there is a nice view of the Danube dinner and Bratislava castle.

Good place to enjoy the city landscape from - indoor and outdoor seating as well. They make their own beer and kitchen is normally open (at least it was before the pandemic).

These days they serve beer and some snacks to-go at the kiosk outside, which is nice as there are not so many places open now. Recommend :)

Nice, cozy place right on the river boat. There are several zones - main internal one, small one with kids playground downstairs and external one (open air, closed in winter times).
Service is nice and quick, but if there are a lot of people, which happens quite often, then you might need to wait a bit. Strongly advice to reserve the table upfront!
They have nice beer and other drinks. Choice is somewhat limited, but all main drinks are there :) Food is nice and tasty.

Very nice place in a modern style. Great view on the river and on the city. Very clean. The rooms are fitted with a modern furniture, however, the feel is like you are in a ship which you actually are. The rooms are thus very small, e.g., my room has no table and a bunk bed. Breakfast is standard.

A very nice experience eating out on the river in a stationary ship and kind of a brewery. Nice warm meals. Don't seat by the window of you are prone to sea sickness. Great experience in Bratislava. Uber taxis get there easily.

Went for the beers, witch are delicious! We were inside because of the winter but the view on Bratislava was amazing. The food is really good too. The staff is great. Highly recommend.

I've been here several times and each time I leave I can't wait to come back. The restaurant is a boat on the Danube that's pretty much permanently tethered to land and it's a hotel and restaurant (boatel.) I've only eaten here, but the restaurant is so great that I just have to stay here at least one night in the future. When I'm here I always get the ribs, which are honestly some of the best I've had anywhere. Do yourself a favor and visit here!

Nice restaurant in Danube. Food is very nice and beer is excellent. Prices are a little bit higher than other restaurants. However, the view and the atmosphere worth the few extra cost. Recommended!

There was a live band playing on the upper deck when we went there. The views form the top deck was amazing with the castle and the sunset on the background, live music, amazing food and friendly staff members who were ready to help us.

This is a family friendly place and great place for group meet ups!

been there 2-3 times and it was really good every time! Great place to take visitors, best in summer to chill, enjoy the view of the castle / old town and drink amazing beer they brew in-house.

we've been there for a night and haven't regret it. rooms are clean and tidy with a hilarious view on bratislava. food as well as home brewed beer was nice, breakfast on roof top gives you an unique view on the danube river and castle. our son did like it too since they are children friendly.

Love it! Nice balcony with a view of the river, you can sit outside and admire Bratislava.

The restaurant within the hotel is nice, the food is amazing and the beer is very tasty.

One of my favourite places in Bratislava, amazing panoramic view of the city, warm and comfortable place to enjoy a dinner with friends, they make their own beer, and the black one is amazing!
