Had a delicious breakfast here, staff super friendly and service was very quick. All the food was really fresh and so tasty! Would definitely come back

Today, I completely accidentally ended up at a simply unbelievably beautiful place called Frištuk (frištuk, that's breakfast in German :)). We stopped by on the way because we wanted something to bite into, but I totally didn't expect this place to be so beautiful, cosy and welcoming!

The owner met us behind the counter and realising we weren't just in for a coffee, immediately offered to make us English breakfasts, and while we waited, they brought us great coffee in beautiful cups. It didn't take long for breakfast to arrive and it was simply marvellous.

And then we were tempted for dessert. And that finally killed my gastronomic receptors. They were just beating in ecstasy from the most delicate pistachio cake.

Overall, from the very beautiful and cosy interior, to the delicious food, to the very, very welcoming attitude - everything was just amazing. I'm very glad I found this place.

There are seats with power outlets inside, but it can get quite crowded before 12 noon, according to the owners, but after 12 it's free. It was practically empty when we were there. You can pay by card.

I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area at this time of day.

Hidden gem! Service and food was absolutely amazing! It's must go in bratislava 🤤🤤🤤 we have asked to share the plates and there was absolutely no problem! We'll done!

A lovely place, with awesome food and very kind hosts... I stepped in on my way to the castle after a three hours walk... Although it was close to the end of business day time I was served with dedication and no pressure... Food was fresh and delicious and, combined with a glass of prosecco, very rewarding. Prices are very reasonable.

If you ever visit Bratislava and you love breakfast as I do, this is a MUST. Friendliest staff, awesome menu, homemade food. Owners also work there - that's the guarantee of quality.

A dream of a breakfast! The dishes were prepared with love and were reasonably priced. My dish was even garnished with chili threads 🤗 and they are not cheap. I would have paid more. The owner and waitress were friendly and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Awesome place. Incredible food, with heart and soul. Worth returning to. Variety of sandwiches, omeletts - rich with fruits and vegetable garnishing, very good coffees. Awesome service, along with a cosy location - best breakfast we had in a long time.

As a customer - just don't be an a*hole: don't rush the service, don't wait impatiently - good quality food takes time, and the owners go extra miles to deliver it!

Amazing breakfast place.
I'm so glad I skipped the boring hotel breakfast and strolled over to this place. Cute, cozy, and with a homely atmosphere. They have open faced sandwhiches with various spreads and toppings, hot breakfast options, and a selection of typical Slovak cakes, as well as some other desserts. I had the egg spread sandwhich and coffee with "kavove zrno" which is a small chocolate covered dessert with marzipan and filling. Highly recommended :) And, the coffee is great too!
The place is quite tiny, but I was there at around 9am on a Saturday and found a table easily.

Very cute, cozy coffee spot in the heart of the city run by the sweetest couple. Athmosphere has a lot of positive vibes. Coffee (I tried cappucino) is very very good and also cheap. I also tried cheesecake and an apple pie, both vere yummy. Really recommend!!

Such a cozy location, sweet staff and great atmosphere. Vegan options are available (plant-based milk and cake, and toast). Makes me feel like I’m back in France.

I think this was the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I am considering moving to Bratislava to have this breakfast more often... Next to the delicious food, the restaurant is very cute and has a great vibe!

There is a review here with someone saying its one of the best breakfast they’ve ever had. At first I was sceptical. After breakfast here, I completely agree. This place has amazing super tasty food and I highly recommend. It has become one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.
