Hotel Matyšák

A very good hotel with excellent clean rooms with good size , comfortable beds and a fine restaurant. The hotel is accessible from the city centre by foot (25 mins) or by public transport (Sokolska station).

Excellent for a short stay. Apartment was really comfortable, with a terrace. Parking is available at the hotel for a very reasonable price. Kind staff, good breakfast.

Very good hotel. Clean, large rooms, warm, nice bathroom, big soft beda, good breakfast.

One thing i didnt like was that the toilet was in a different room from the showers

It was one of my best stays in a hotel. Nice, specious and clean room. Car parking on site, very good breakfast, friendly lady in the reception, close to the center of the city (can reach it by 10 mins walk). We just stayed one night but will miss our stay in the hotel Matysak. Hope to go back there soon☺

Nice 3 star hotel, no complaints about anything. Few minutes walk from the train station, and the bus stop for the city centre is nearby. Room was spacious and clean, minibar well refrigerated and reasonably priced, breakfast selection was good and so was the overall service. Good place for solo travellers and quick city breaks.

The hotel is located a bit out of the centre but close to the train station. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was really good!

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms, great value for money. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Reception staff was very welcoming. Will stay again

Very nice hotel with big rooms for a very reasonable rate. Big bathroom and extra toilet. Very large bed. Classic furniture and extra desk in a twin room.
Plus a stylish cellar restaurant to wine and dine with 45k+ bottles of wine for every taste and needs.

Comfortable hotel close to the train station (an entertaining 10 minute walk using ramped bridges useful for wheeled luggage!).

Entrance is behind the restaurant, which serves really nice food, great place for dinner, and a good breakfast.

Comfortable beds, and quiet, so had a really good sleep. Would stay again.

The correspondence of the staff of the hotel was very good. The view from the window had a sense of life but I wasn’t particularly concerned. The room is perfect! The parking lot was free. Although breakfast was few kinds, we didn’t have dissatisfaction. However, we were trouble because the wifi wasn’t good at night.

The hotel is built on top of a wine cellar with the same owner. Clean, comfy rooms, great breakfast, and restaurant and wine cellar in the basement made sure I will be coming back. There's also a wine shop with discount for hotel guests.

We ate at their Wine & Grill restaurant and enjoyed the excellent food & service. The meringue with goat cheese cream & wine sorbet is to die for.

Good location , with good service , clean rooms ...., and a free bottle of good wine . Breakfast was good . Hotel Restaurant food , didn't match my taste ... although it seemed to satisfy the taste of much of its clients

We've had a four course coupon dinner, from Zlavadna.sk & it was last minute. We arrived max. 30 minutes after buying the coupon online. Obviously we've checked by phone if they have a table for two. They were almost empty though.

The service was excellent and friendly. No faces were made like we've seen at some other places where they sell coupon/discounted meals online & when you arrive they treat you as if you were a cheap looser.

We were really satisfied & the food was truly gourmet level! Matysak wines are some of the best in Slovakia and the kitchen in this hotel/restaurant doesn't lag behind the wine level. Great atmosphere & quick service too. Quiet, not too busy for a Saturday afternoon.

Clean and comfortable hotel not far from the central railway station (700 m.). Free WiFi in the rooms, even if the signal is a little weak. Good quality food at breakfast, but the choice of food is limited, in particular for the people having breakfast after 9am.

Nice quiet place with spacy rooms. 10 min from the central railway station but no any affecting signs of its neighbourhood

5* restaurant with one of the most famous Slovakian chef. Visit here is always a day to remember. Fine dining.
