I was wandering the off-the-beaten-track part of Bratislava, having already assumed my failure — I wasn't going to be able to watch the Copa del Rey final between Athletic and Mallorca —. But, about to turn back to my minus 5 star hostal, I found the ZORA PUB as a truly Marian apparition. At first I was hesitant to come in, as I could only see Slovak—looking people (as it happenned) —but I knew I was at the right place. I asked the bartender if they would put the final, as they were already watching some other (inferior) football matches, and, surprisingly, he knew about it although it wasn't on. He agreed to turn it on and kept the bar open until the end of regulation (of the match), much further than what I could suspect was their usual closing time. A true football bar.
I ordered two beers and they were nice.
This Spanish will never forget. Thank you nameless bartender (didnt catch his name), thank you Bratislava!

Don't ever come here. You are not worthy. You'd consider the staff rude, because they do their job: Bring you beer. Yeah. They don't smile or ask you 'howyadoin'.

This is how it went 25 years ago and how it goes now. Deal with it or GTFO.

P.S.: There are spit marks on the walls of the toilet. They are supposed to be there.

Do you want something local? Do you really want something local? This is it! Pub serving for decades and generation. True old school. Place were u can get wasted with feel of the nostalgia.
