FINALLY BANH MI IN BRATISLAVA!

I have been looking for Banh mi in this town for years and it appears to have been worth the wait.

Great atmosphere right off the main shopping street. Staff was friendly, menus in English, Slovak, and Vietnamese. Cash only for now. Super reasonable prices. I got the marinated beef (#8) and my buddy got the marinated pork and we were both super happy. Meat was tender and flavorful, the bread is made fresh on site every day and is super crispy and delicious, and the coriander really made the whole thing pop. I'll definitely be back on the regular!

It's difficult to have high expectations when you're ordering five Bahn mi sandwiches for 18 euros. Boy was I wrong. Hands-down the best Bahn mi in Bratislava. The bread was crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The meat was marinated to perfection and the veggies had a beautiful crunch. All I can say is a heartfelt thank you and that I will be back for sure!

Update December 2022: I stand by my initial review, this place makes absolutely killer banh mi, I cannot recommend enough

Delicious food. It is suitable for vegans. They have many vegan options. It is cheaper to eat here when compering to other restaurants in center of Bratislava.

Simple, efficient, and decently priced veggie food. Starts at €4.30 for a portion of mains that you can choose from the big menu (over 40 options), and €1 for rice. Portion sizes are good for a proper meal, and tastes pretty good too.

Great value for price! So many vegan options that we don't remember what we had, but there were "duck" (Very tasty), rice, and noodles involved. Interior is practical, nothing more. Staff (probably owner) speaks at least English and German and calculates prices in his head. We recommend going there!

Mr. Huy is marinating vegan meat to absolute perfection. Oh I dream about their tofu bah mi on regular basis. Might visit bratislava just to get one again.

The food is good, the prices are great! If you want a no nonsens place with good food (with vegan+vegetarian options): this is it. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, just good food. For about 6 euros (or even less with some choices) you will get a tasteful meal.

I've eaten at dozens and dozens of Asian vegan places in my life, and I can safely say this was the best experience I've ever had. I was in shock while eating it. This gets my absolute highest recommendation.

My second favorite Vietnamese bistro in Bratislava, has HUGE selection of vegetarian dishes (40+). Best ones are probably Tofu Saigon, Taxi and Chlebo.

Delicious traditional Vietnamese baguettes. I was waiting for something like this and finally you can get the real deal in Bratislava as well!

Not the best but for ,e the best in downtown for Vietnamese food, especially the vegan and vegetarian variety. Cheap eateria, so not not expect anything fancy.
