Hostel Brickyard

It was the very first time of mine in shared room and I met very nice people including the interesting Australian girl travelling across whole the Europe for two month.

The hotel is incredibly well located. I love Štefánikova street which is beside. Everything is close. You don't need to use any public transport if you don't want. At night you can have a healthy walk from the city centre to the hostel.

Despite the fact it was quite cheap it was really clean. I was looking for the place just to sleep and I really didn't miss anything in Brickyard hostel.

The room fit six people, the lock boxes were very large and the bathroom was very clean.
It is located quite centrally, needing only a short walk.

Staff were excellent, giving recommendations for what to do or where to eat.

So far one of the nicest hostels I've seen in Bratislava, normal price, super nice and clean inside, has very spacious kitchen and a common eating, chillout area. Staff are helpful and unpretentious. Oh and nice mattresses. Definitely recommend

A somewhat hidden but very cozy hostel. It's only a few steps away from the central station and 10 minute walk to the city centre. And in case you run out of things to do in Bratislava, you can always you can always stare at the fish in the aquarium at the reception. They're cool but get pissed off when not fed.

Great place with great people. Rooms are nice and clean. Share kitchen it's big, and they have a nice terrace to chill. Receptionists are helpful and with good English level. Definitely we will come back.

Was there with a big group for a week. They cleaned the rooms every other day. Were helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and location is only a little walk or tiny bus ride from the old city center

The rooms are clean and that is really pleasant. Really welcoming people and they don't hesitate to give spontaneous advice for the visits, restaurants, etc.

A very cosy and conveniently located hostel! The rooms are very spacious and toilets are very clean. The staff are pretty serious about the cleanliness.

Room was nice. Staff were really helpful and the hostel is right by the train station which is really useful when you need to go catch a train to Vienna!

Every year we go on an group vacation with 30-40 person from a student association. This year we we went to Bratislava and stayed in several rooms at the Brickyard Hostel. I think this is one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed at, rooms were cleaned multiple times during the week and the common areas were cleaned even more often. The staff was very friendly, rooms were spacious and the kitchen is exactly equipped enough to cook most kind of meals. There were enough keys for all persons in the room, which is always a plus if you’re with a big group that splits up a lot. Bratislava train station is a couple of minutes away and the Old Town is a nice walking distance as well (or you can take a bus or tram at one of the stops next to the hostel). For a hostel in this price range, I would say you can’t really do much better.

Economical, staff who can speak in English. Close to the city Centre and it was good that they also had a cloak room.
