Garni Hotel Virgo

A very nice hotel with a good price quality relationship. Spacious and neat rooms, very comfy and clean. Efficient service. Close to the old town and all the main attractions of the city.

The room was clean and nice. There is a bathtub, I loved that. Towels and toiletries were prepared (I was surprised since it is not an expensive hotel at all). There are a lot of space, fridge, the street is quiet and the location is excellent - about 5 minutes walk to the center. We parked our car in the garage, everything worked smoothly. The check-in was fast, despite of the description we did not have to pay deposit. The receptionist girl also called me later in the afternoon with the following: Sorry she did not notice on my ID card that I have a birthday today and she just wanted to wish me Happy Birthday - how amazing is this? :) - it was on 22 October, huge cheers for her. I would definetely recommend it to anyone who goes to Bratislava.

I am writing this review with special thanks to Vladimir. I got back to my hotel room just after midnight and immediately saw a massive spider on the ceiling. I have massive fears of spiders so did not know what to do and ended up staring at it for an hour. I did not want to call reception because it would just look a bit ridiculous on me. However, knowing I would not be able to sleep the entire night, I called reception, Vladimir answered and showed a great amount of empathy towards my fear of spiders. A few moments later, I was greeted by him who has impeccable manners and he sorted out the spider situation within a couple of minutes. Thank you to Vladimir, I had a great night of sleep afterwards.
The room it self was also clean and spacious. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk to the old town centre. Would recommend anyone with a whistle stop in Bratislava.

Good location, nice little building with a few rooms. Seems recently restored, so all the amenities are in good shape and clean.
The reception is in another building a few steps along the street.

It really worth what it cost! Very new, very clean. Greatly located, jut 400-600 m to old town. We stayed in blue building,in 2 bedroom apartment, new bed linens, quality towels, fully equipped kitchen.

I really had a nice time. The room was amazing. Maybe a little bit cold because of the freezing current that is striking Europe... but I really enjoyed my a staying there!

Brilliant. Large room and it was very clean. Reasonably priced and we were very close to the main old town. Highly recommend this place. Top notch!
