The Blue Church - Church of St. Elizabeth

A must visit if you come to Bratislava.
Unique church to visit and appreciate. The striking blue colour is lovely to view.
Unfortunately, the church was having renovations when we visited so we couldn't go inside but still got chance to marvel at the outside.

Must visit place in Bratislava. The church is very beautiful with different shades of blue. The place is near the city centre so you can walk to this place easily.
The church is not very huge. Please check timings before your visit. Its a simple church from inside but mesmerising from outside.

Very interesting and beautiful church. Everything is blue. Even the branches inside. If you are in Bratislava you should stop by to see it. When we arrived the church was closed but the main the door was still open so you can see the inside from the entrance.

I loved this church and how it stood out, due to its color and the residential neighborhood surrounding it. It was not open when I visited, so I had to settle for the exterior view. I did get to hear the bell ring amd that was nice..

This place had more disturbing tourists than anywhere else, demanding me to move out of the way of their pictures, although I was there before them and also took pictures, idk. Anyway passed by twice, there was always some girl or group taking pictures. Not that holy place anymore I guess. I really liked it. It would be so good if the castle was made in the same manner. The church is a gem, and so is the building right next to it. Not sure how it happened to be so modernistic, but I'm glad it did. Hopefully a lot of other places in Bratislava will get this makeover, as some are in dire need of such. Close by I recommend Medicka zagrada

One of my favourite places in Bratislava. You can't come here without visiting the iconic blue church! Detail was absolutely stunning couldn't tske my eyes off it.

This is definitely the best place of worship you can find in Bratislava! Since it is one of the most famous monument of the city, there are people literally at every time of the day! In the photo it doesn't make much, but believe me that if you see it live you will be amazed. It is free of charge to visit it but it has strange hours

A beautiful church, with a great architecture and a wonderful colour. The bell rang every hour. It is a treat to see this church.

Amazing looking building with the sun shining on it. Short walk from the Old Town. Just be mindful that it’s only open at certain times.

Approaching the church, I was immediately struck by its exquisite Gothic architecture and ornate detailing. The towering spire and intricate stone carvings adorned the exterior, hinting at the awe-inspiring treasures within. The rich history and cultural significance of this sacred site were palpable from the moment I set foot inside.

Stepping into the church, I was enveloped by a profound sense of calm and serenity. The soft lighting, soaring ceilings, and hushed atmosphere created an ambiance that invited quiet contemplation and introspection.

Really unique coloured church. I recommend to check the mass hours in order to be able to visit the interior.

One of the beautiful church also definitely unique one. The Disney-Land like appearance made it special. Both interior and exterior are attractive for blue color and small detailing on the walls.

Beautiful church, we visited during our 1 day trip to Bratislava, walking distance from city center!

One of the trademark to visit when visiting Bratislava(Capital of Slovakia).With a great history and a unique outlook.Commonly known as The Blue Church or Elizabeth Church.

This was easy to find and in a walkable distance. This sits perfectly on the main road so no need for any tickets unless you want to go inside. We didn't get into the details. I really wanted to see this place for myself as I couldn't believe the images I saw prior to this. God, this looks like cake decor. So surreal. Many people stopped by to take pictures. Definitely recommend.

Looks soo good from outside... But not as huge as European churches... Very beautiful
