Sushi Mushi Boutique Restaurant

The most delicious sushi I ever ate, and I have sushi regularly in different places. Each type of sushi is very well thought through. Every sushi type has its own unique flavour - from milder vegetarian, to strong flavour of tuna sashimi. The real taste of Japan in Bratislava.
The restaurant is not huge, perfect to get away from the hustle of the world, very authentic atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My first time visit to beautiful Bratislava and being a life long fan of Japanese food, I naturally seeked out a good Japanese restaurant to eat some sashimi. Well, I found this hole-in the-wall, literally. See the pics I uploaded. The place is like, well, a door leading down a staircase to a very tiny “cave”!. It is sits probably 18 people maximum if you tried. However, once you are in the “cave”, you can expect a Japanese culinary satisfaction. Menu is simple and easy to order from. The prices are very reasonable (I dined full with Sashimi plate that I built, a good local beer, and an amazing miso soup for lime 50 Euros!) on a weekday night, place was not crowded and nothing was rushed. Sashimi was fresh and tasted great. The owner was very accommodating, not good with english but managed great with everything. I recommend it full heartedly. Well done in the heart of Bratislava’s old town👍🏼

High-quality sushi fusion spot. Really nice basement / cellar seating area. Love the decor. Service was top-notch in both Slovak & English. Expensive for what you get though...

Surprisingly tasty sushi in old town. Very beautifully served. We had vegetarian Uramaki and i have never had a better sushi in Bratislava than this. It is very surprising to me that the place was completely empty during lunch hours. I am glad i was not discouraged by the lack of people and tried the delicious food of this place anyway.

Small sushi bar with exceptional menu! We found no "just regular" options - everything we ordered was created in a very special way i never saw before. Even salmon roll was great-looking, unusual, and delicious!
And special thanks for the service - we felt ourselves as in one of those restaurants you visit for some very special occasion.

I went with my wife on January 14. We both had "Modern Sushi". The taste was excellent. We both agreed that the freshness and balance of the flavors was outstanding. Even though the price was quite high(about $20 for each sushi) the food was so outstanding, that we came out of the restaurant very satisfied with our choice. As for the service, the personnel was unobtrusive and let us bide our time. I recommend this sushi restaurant hands down.

When visiting Bratislava the capital city of Slovakia I didn’t expect to find myself sitting down for a sushi lunch. However, we were in the mood for some boutique food and a bottle of Rose and when we stumbled by Sushi Mushi we thought we would give it a try!

The service was prompt, polite and friendly and the sushi was excellent, I would even go as far to say some of the best sushi I have ever had. The detailing and ratios of the sushi were near perfection and it washed down perfectly with a bottle of cold rose on a warm day. We enjoyed the experience so much we returned a few days later with friends for the evening experience inside the cavern style basement in the heart of the medieval city centre. We had a great time with our friends and we’re pleasantly surprised by the value for money when the bill arrived. Thanks Sushi Mushi, we hope to visit you again soon!

This place is very lovely. The interior is amazingly designed and creates this feeling of relaxation. The food here is delicious and very well served. The staff is kind and keen to listen to you. I recommend this place. If you want to go eat in Bratislava then this is the right place for you.

Lovely, quiet place. Simple, but very nice interior. Soups were very good, sushi as well and mango sticky rice was brilliant. Bit a more expensive as other sushi places in Bratislava, but worth the price.

This restaurant is simply amazing! It is the best sushi I have ever had. It was very flavourful. The eel maki (unagi kabayaki) was very tasty and the Goma Makame! The home made lemonade is so refreshing and tasty. I would recommend anyone who wants delicious food to come here, friendly service and a cool, unique atmosphere.

The restaurant is in the underground, accessible through a door that gives no hint as to what one should expect.
We were two adults and two children and were all pleasantly surprised by the great food and attentive service.
