A very pleasant and glamorous experience. The food is great, portions are big and service is fantastic. The restaurant is located inside the hotel and is beautifully decorated. Prices are higher. I recommend the place for special occassions.

Really tasty food! Fair price and portion. Great service and environment too! Highly recommend anyone interested to try their lunch menu since it’s such a bargain! No service charge as well but I’m happy for my experience so I tipped them.

Honestly, the best restaurant in Bratislava.
Great service, trully amazing food, place looks great and is located in city center.
Price is maybe bit higher for Slovakia, but quality definitely matches it.

We ordered Black lentils soup, Ravioli filled with fontina cheese, Duck leg and brest and Dear tenderloin. Everything was very delicious and service was perfect.

We stayed in the Marrols Hotel, so the breakfasts are vivid and tasty. I’ve decided to have lunch and I was surprised by the great service and delicious food. Cozy, family, and frankly sparking its hard to get a remarkable service in Europe, and that is one of the places you’ll definitely find the one!

Awesome, amazing, great. If there was a possibility to rate higher than 5 stars, this place is the one to get it. It was magnificent. Definetly the place to have dinner, if you want the best culinary experience. One of my top 3 restaurants in Bratislava

Lunch
Location: 8/10 the ambient is very cozy with nice furniture and Mise en place. Different types of glasses for red and white wine.
Service: 8/10 the waiters were very attentive and not invasive.
Food: 7/10 good food. Very good duck, tender and tasty. I would add more traditional Slovakian food on the menu ( or revised). The appetiser I tried wasn't really memorable.
Presentation is just ok. ( For the level of the restaurant)
Drinks: 7/10 Danubian red wine was ok as well as the coffee
Dessert: not tried
Price: more than the Bratislava avarage but it is worth it.
Overall: Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a nice cozy ambient and good food in Bratislava.

We stayed in the lovely Marrol's Boutique Hotel and went to Houdini for my husband's 40th birthday. It was THE nicest meal we had on our trip to both Vienna & Bratislava. I was a bit sad that I told them it was my husband's birthday and they seemed to forget but we loved the food, so I give it five stars anyway. My husband had the rabbit with dumplings and I had the traditional Slovak Bryndzové Halušky, which is potato dumplings with sour cream, bacon and a specific cheese you can only find in this region of Slovakia. It was so delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is also beautiful and the staff are very friendly and hard working. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The food was delicious and nicely served. Everything was spices very well, only for the beef consommé I needed to add a bit of salt and pepper, but better than if it was oversalted..for example my colleague did not need to add anything. I also had goose liver foie gras which were perfectly combined with some kind of cranberries jam and bake rolls-like pieces. Sous vide roe deer saddle was so soft and tender that I felt like I could spread its center on bread. Needed to carefully use the sauce that came along with it, because it had very strong taste in my opinion so it could have beaten the taste of meat itself. At last, the dessert, dark chocolate mousse, was excellent, not oversweetened and with sour cherries in 3 kinds of chocolate.
I have no complain on my experience here. The staff was also very professional and kind, just as expected in this level of restaurant.

Enjoyed a delightful meal here this evening. Everything was exceptional, from the unpretentious environment to the outstanding cuisine. Upon entry we felt welcomed as family. The sidecar cocktails was the best I've had since Chicago. The service was professional, unassuming, and...unexpectedly white glove only (can't remember the last time I had that). For starters we enjoyed the baked Zander filet, romaine salad (mostly arugula and Nüssli, even better), and mushroom soup, all excellent. For mains we enjoyed the goose confit, burger, veal tenderloins, and steak frites. All diners were enamored with their meal,, and sharing came at a 'cost' in trade. Dessert was the chocolate brownie (exceeded expectation by the description) and the date tartlet, alongside a cortado. Would recommend pairing with some dessert wines or spirits next time. This was the best meal we have enjoyed on our travels through Budapest, Prague, and Bratislava, and that wasn't for lack of trying highly-rated establishments. Hats off to the chef and team at Houdini. We had intended to enjoy the Restaurant Albert, which had not yet reopened after summertime renovations, and which we will gladly save for our next visit in exchange for this delightful meal.

If you think Bratislava is all pork and fried cheese then you need to come here. Decadent but relaxed, sharp but friendly service, reasonably priced but top quality. Best tomato soup with shavings of parmesan ever. The rabbit was exquisite. Definitely recommend!!!
