Assaraya Turkish Restaurant

This place is one of my favorite restaurants in Riyadh. The food is absolutely awesome. I have eaten there in the 90s and then visited again just few weeks ago. I could not believe that they have maintained the quality of the food and taste for all those years. The atmosphere is the same as well. Some expansion happened but the look and feel are the same. The staff are courteous and welcoming and the service is good. The chicken in tile is one of the best you can taste. I had humus and baba ghanouj in the same plate since I was alone. The bread is also very nice and freshly baked. The fresh juices are excellent and the price is reasonable.

Assaraya is a family friendly and casual dining restaurant serving authentic delicious Turkish food. The restaurant consists of three floors and has a beautiful interior that reflects the Turkish design with beautiful ambiance.
Their menu offers a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes such as mixed grills, shawarma, mezza appetizers, claypot dishes as well as refreshing juices and traditional sweets. The restaurant is usually very busy during the weekend. It’s one of my favorite frequently visited restaurant in an affordable range.

A must try Turkish Restaurant in riyadh. Superb ambience,Service was excellent and was extraordinary tasty food. Tried there mixed grill of 1KG. Lamb Chopstick is well cooked and juicy. There arabic mix salad is also great. Fresh juice pineapple also tried.

This is by far the best Turkish food in Riyadh, it is a very well established old restaurant and already very famous for its food, the service and food has always been consistent, the most juiciest grills and kebabs, and their french fries is very tasty. Shawarma tastes really good too. Highly recommend, I will keep visit them back to back. Excellent.

Great spot near Olaya. We stumbled upon this place while out searching for something else & were quite happy we did! The Turkish bread is massive & quite tasty. I am vegetarian & ordered the eggplant clay pot dish which was awesome. I’m a lemon mint addict & ended up getting two. Would definitely go back!

Very good place to visit with your family sitting place is very cool with a versatile view of wild life ... your kids will definitely enjoy this place 😊
Chicken and meat sharwma is good choice bar b q is very expensive as compared to market. Overall good and unique experience 👌

I am having this butter hummus since almost 10-12 years and it still tastes amazingly delicious, Turkish bread always adds an extra to the meal. I'll keep on coming to Saraya. Thanks for the amazing food ❤❤

Good place to have dinner with family

Where do I begin. Whatever you order is VERY WELL MADE. Each dish has its own distinct flavour. The food is very well presented as well. Their sesame bread is a must have.

Excellent food specially the Grill Chops i loved it. Its not very fancy but is great for big gatherings

This is an absolute wonderful restaurant!! Their bread, humus, and my favourite dish, kofta with cheese (see the photos)!!! Everything there is great! I really recommend you visiting.

one of the oldest and best turkish restaurants in riyadh. the taste is still the same. having it since childhood. nothing has changed.

To a private dining experience with your family, Assaraya holds a special place in the hearts of turkish grill lovers. From the soft grilled chicken to the tender yet quite stiff steak, the turkish grill taste is not what you get in an average steakhouse when it comes to meat, however their unique taste makes it addicting to come and eat it once again

The food is good. I love ❤ the taste and presentation .... dolma 😋 is my favorite dish in this place ....... must visit 😇

Wonderful iftar with friends! First time to order humos with butter great you need to try !

It was my first visit to Assaraya, and it was anamazing experience. The ambience was good and the service was excellent. Fresh items prepared in a short amount of time. We ordered the following items:
1. Mix Grill. Everything in the mix gril was worth eating. Mutton chops, mutton kebab and griled mutton pcs were all very good and had no smell in them.
2. Chicken Shiah Tawouk plate: very delicious and very tender, juicy chicken pieces
3. Mutton minced with Cheese. This was the show stopper. Sizzling as it came in, had the perfect spices and topped with cheese, it was the best among the items we tried.
4. Hummus was the best i have had til now in Riyadh. Unlike most hummus, this one never left any traces of sore throat.
5. The large bread piece was very soft and fresh. It was even soft when it became cold.

So an overall excellent experience. Will be visiting again for sure
