HHR Station

The train from Makkah to Jeddah airport is a high speed train runs at the speed of 300 km/h. Very convenient, free bus service from and to Haram at Jabl e Umar bus route no 7A every 15 minutes.

It is excellent service by the stuff and beautiful deign. Location is very accessible. Good options for coffee shops and fast food restaurants.

Super clean, spacious and luxe-feel station and train (business class). I’ve traveled standard class too, which also rather comfortable and clean, at a fraction of the cost.

The station itself at stops has a airport terminal vibe, almost lounge-like. Very impressive.

Food is served on-board with with business tickets. Nothing special but palatable. The business lounge at this station was very underwhelming, with basic food and drink available. The seating was the highlight of the lounge, so make what you will with that.

Great Experience travelling in HHR long distance train from Makkah to Madinah.
The app was giving an error so had to buy tickets at the train station.
Bags weren’t checked or weighed.
The trains were super clean and smooth.
The toilets on the train were in good condition.
Each seat has a dining table and charging sockets to charge your electronics.

Great experience taking the train from Makkah to Medina with impressive travel time of only 2h20m. Comfortable chairs with nice legroom. Wifi was not working on the train.

Clean as a whistle, very helpful staff. I booked the tickets using the mobile app, and then printed them using the kiosks at the station. Got checked in, went up the escalators to departures, and got the call to board. All in all, a smooth experience. Three of us, each with a suitcase and 1 hand luggage. Nothing was weighed or measured, our bags were within the limits anyway but I'd heard some horror stories online. And here we are on the train! It's incredibly smooth, and travelling at around 200-300kph.

Plenty of space on each carriage to put luggage, plus space above seats for smaller luggage. All in all, a very straightforward experience and I'd recommend it if you get the chance.

Very nice station to travel with the high speed trains between makkah and madinah. Only 10-15 mins from the holy masjid.

Wowww ...Awesome experience very beautifully built this project ..just loved the train and stations ...and also the assistance and services are beyond expectations..very well maintained and cleaned .....this high speed train only travels madina to mecca and mecca to madina ..stops in between jeddah and KAFC .. mecca to madina ticket charges for each person : 157 riyals .....at last one thing is very disappointing is that only one cafeteria in the whole train which is near to business class ..if we need anything and you are in economy coach ,you have to go all the way to 1st coach and food eating and drinking items are very expensive for example the small water bottlel not even 1 litre ...smallest one is for 4 riyals ..my advise if you are traveling better you take 1 water bottle from home..

One important thing is to avoid big luggage above mentioned measurements which are not allowed in train. Apart from that experience of train was great. I would say one of my precious memories of my life. Train is clean and smooth with top speed of 300km. Although expensive but Best part is it saves alot of time as compared to car specially when travelling from Holy Mecca to Holy Medina. Buying ticket online a few days earlier is cheaper compared to buying on spot.
