If you are looking for a camping experience that has a bit more amenities...this place is great. We went up with 5 other families and prepared to camp and would take anything more that was on top if it. When you arrive, two caretakers will greet you and take you bags to your tent.

Rooms: There are two types of room VIP(with bathroom), regular(w/o bathroom). We had VIP which is a bit bigger of a tent as well but it has a closet, beds with sheets, blankets, pillow, and an A/C that works extremely well. All A/C's were practically brand new and worked well.

Food: Bring all of your own food if you are planning to eat there. We brought dry food as well as coolers of cold food. If you bring charcoal, they will make a small fire to get the coals going so you can BBQ or cook items over the grill. We asked them to order a traditional breakfast one of the mornings and they had it ready on time and laid everything out. It was roughly 45/SAR a person and was delicious.

Compound: All 15 or so tents are enclosed by wall with a large tent in the middle with Arabic seating. It's a very safe and isolated area about 10 minutes north of the main town. You can walk down to the beach or take a 30 second car ride. We drove on the beach north about 2 minutes, where it was a bit nicer and watched the sunset a few times. There are many outlets to charge phones, warm showers, and flush toilets.

Things to do: If you ask the guys at the compound, they will arrainge for a boat ride for you. It's roughly 350 SAR/hour for a small boat or 500/SAR an hour for a big boat. You will see dolphins, turtles, and swim. 3 hours was plenty on the boat for us and we did all of that. There is also volcanoes about 50 minutes from this site. We went and loved the hike and drive.

Overall: This was a phenomenal place for our family and friends to stay. If you book ahead of time, you shouldn't have any problems. If you plan to camp, you will be very pleased. If you're looking for a hotel with warm towels, stunning views from the 5th floor and a concierge...this is not it.

Royal Tours is a very wonderful place to spend holidays, and also cleanliness there is in the best condition. The place is really worth a visit to enjoy and take some rest and tranquility. Stayed here two nights with a friend while travelling around Umluj. Wonderful place! Comfortable beds in bedouin tents with private bathroom. Common area with chairs, fireplace and a lounge. The owner Khalid speaks perfect English and the Sudanese guy who takes care of the place was extremely attentive - bringing us tea, coffee, sheesha all the time, bringing firewood. The breakfast was great! A lot better than the aparthotels in Umluj.

One of the most beautiful tourist places on the sea balcony. Really deserves five stars for the cleanliness and the wonderful reception. I recommend you to visit it
