Old school restaurant, was a nice reminder of some home made dishes of my grandma. Excellent everything. Kudos to the kitchen and service. Highly recommended. Also insanely good value for money. Not only reasonable prices but also different 2 dish sizes to choose from. I will certainly visit again.

The food, the ambiance, the service is just perfect. Must restaurant to visit when you're in Novi Sad. The price is fair and not expensive. Just a few minutes walk from the main Novi Sad square. Must visit.

One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Novi Sad. Traditional Serbian food prepared well. Service was good, food was great. The vibe and atmosphere was cosy and traditional. A very safe bet.

This is the restaurant with good food, great service and good atmosphere.
Food is so tasty, we ate 'Barena svinjska butkica sa kajmakom', 'gibanica' and salad. I do not know what was better!
Service is really kind and helpful.
When you come you will get traditional 'slatko' with strawberries and water. Also ate the end you get 'Malinovaca' drink and cookies.
Prices are affordable, not so high.
Atmosphere is great, beautiful garden. Maybe to have some music in the garden it was so quite..
Also, live music is at night and that ia great.
For every recommendation if you are in Novi Sad , authentic Serbian cuisine, restaurant filled with Serbian hospitality.

Traditional Serbian restaurant! Amazing dishes and very helpful staff. Inside and outside are two different themes but both lovely. The inside is full of history and the outside looks like a wonderful garden. Amazing vibes guaranteed. This is a must-go place if you visit Novi Sad.

I can't say enough good things about this place! It's hands down the best restaurant in Novi Sad. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is charming and delightful. The staff is fantastic, especially our server, Mike. He was not only incredibly friendly but also super efficient. I was truly impressed. Enjoyable cozy restaurant with quality Serbian food. The waiter was very kind. We waited for the food and the bill a bit longer than it should be. Otherwise pleasant experience, relaxing music, beautiful surroundings, tasty food and reasonable prices. My recommendations.

Cozy and comfy place with a lot of plants. There are delicious dishes from local cuisine. I certainly recommend. You will be enjoy it totally, if you don't be shy when some local guests stare at you.

Restaurant Sokace in Novi Sad is a must-visit for anyone looking to try authentic Serbian food. The food was great, with a wide variety of traditional dishes that were all delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making for a fantastic overall dining experience. To add to the atmosphere, there was live music playing during our visit which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Best dinner you can have in Serbia!! Cosy, detailed design of cafe with quiet terrace. Various serbian meals in menu and good prices. After all, we had an opportunity to have a degustation of different desserts.

Wonderful, authentic and delicious food. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and inviting. And I can't go past with out mentioning the atmosphere, which was phenomenal. In the evening they also have live music which takes the experience to the next level.
Do your self a favour and visit Solace at least once, but I'm certain you'll be back again and again!

Definitely worth the 1.5hr drive from Belgrade to come to this restaurant! Great selection of traditional Serbian dishes. Excellent atmosphere and English friendly menu/staff. Try a bit of everything.

Our last meal in NS was at Sokace. And it was truly a fitting farewell meal to be able to enjoy Serbian flavours in a cozy restaurant filled with quaint traditional decor. We ordered the slowcooked lamb and it did not disappoint! The meat was flavourful, tender and just fell off the bones. It is a MUST TRY!! They cooked the lamb so well that there was no gamey taste to it. We also had the sopska salad and the house bread which was freshly baked. It was delicious. The baker was friendly and showed us the different types of bread available. Our waiter was also nice, and spoke a little English. Another one couldn't speak English and was quite rude.
The ambience was perfect until some customers started smoking. Such a pity there was no consideration for non smoking customers.

An excellent restaurant for occasional tourists in the city of Novi Sad. Although small (it has two small rooms, probably 15 tables) it is very intimate and has a large variety of Serbian food. The hosts are very friendly. They managed to accommodate our group of 12 very hungry people (thanks Neboja and Sasha). They also have a small orchestra that delighted us with local music. One by one, an unforgettable experience.
