Petnica Cave

very rich nice experience. Obligatory ask "Drudstvo istrazivaca" in Valjevo to make a guided tour, so you see everything and don't miss out the tales, folklore and scientific historical facts of the cave.

A small cave, need to go upstairs to get to the entrance, which is small, btw. Doesn't look safe, though, due to two large holes in the ceiling. Still, a great place to visit. I have been there a few times. The only downside is the garbage left by the idiots who visit and litter, and the government idiots who don't organize cleaning.

Unfortunately we weren't able to enter deeper but the few things that we saw around the cave, such are nature, the story about the cave, birds living inside and chill, are pretty much awsome. :-)

Beautiful wonder of nature: two caves connected by a tunnel, in lower there is a small river, upper is a natural concert hall with daylight. Great place to visit - very chilly, though. Take a sweater, even in summer! And a phone for light.

Nice cave to visit. Make sure to take the stairs to the upper entrance.

If you are near, this place is must visit. Like from the other world.

IMPORTANT: This is a cave for real spaleonotology enthusiasts. NOT FOR TOURISTS just yet. Inside of the cave is very wet and mud will form a real thick film on your soles so it will be very slippery and since it has a real steep stairs there is a real good chance of falling down. So come prepared and bring a head-light and you will have a fun time guaranteed.

Prelepo izkustvo, šteta sto nema vodiča, kustosa da ispriča nešto

U blizini Valjeva, u selu Petnica se nalazi ova pećina, kojoj je uređen prikaz i može se posetiti donja i gornja pećina. Površina pećine je mnogo veća i postoji niz podzemnih kanala i jezero. Interesantna je geološki, arheološki, kao i za biologe, zbog čega je deo istraživačkih seminara i radova polaznika Istraživačke stanice Petnice.

Lepo mesto,ali malo zapusteno.Gornja pecina je prelepa.
