Фонтан "Мать и дитя" установлен в центре Заечара в 1960 году на месте бывшей чесмы. Один из знаковых объектов для города. В сквере у фонтана общепринятое место для отдыха и размышлений. Дети любят наблюдать, как голуби прилетают пить воду (часто прямо из кувшина ), как садятся на плечи матери и ребёнку. Зимой вода выключается. В 2019 году чесму, из которой можно попить круглый год, опять перенесли из центра площади Освобождения ближе к фонтану.

Jednostavna i zanimljiva stara fontana.
Možda ima mesta za još bolje održavanje, ali.. sasvim je u redu i ovako kako je trenutno sada.
