Amazing experience. Fantastic opportunity to receive a glance at the history of the area and the way of living back in 19th and beginning of 20th century.

Historical place with interesting story. Today popular because of filming several Serbian movies and TV Shows.

A place to visit in any case preferably on the first day.

Interesting history presented by the museum guide that gives a lot of info about the area with picturesque stories about little Rista (once owner f the house) and his way of handling with the Turkish authorities and by telling the story of various rooms and things exhibited in the house.

At the end visitors have an interesting and quite realistic impression of the history of the place and many useful info about the location and what to visit, taste and feel when while they will stay in the surroundings.
Interesting for kids too. Fluent in Serbian, English, German, Bolgarian and probably even more.

Museum has a guide who tells a very compelling story about the history and life in this region in 19th century and begining of 20th century. The story revolves around the owner of the house/motel and his family. The owner was Mali Rista (Little Rista). His great grandson sold this house to the city officials who made it into the museum. One can feel the authentic spirit of old times by visiting the museum.

Museum located in the home of famous Pirot's merchant "Little Rista" . Many Interesting items could be found there and many interesting stories one can hear during the tour. Highly recommend
