National Museum Kikinda

The museum’s captivating displays, particularly the one dedicated to the town’s history, were truly remarkable. The highlight was the movie featuring the fascinating discovery of the Kika mammoth, with 90% of her preserved, back in 1996. It was awe-inspiring to see her in person.

What made our visit even more special was our guide, Milos. His enthusiasm and deep knowledge of history were unparalleled. Milos took us on a journey through time, explaining the rich history of the area in a way that left us truly amazed. We’ve never encountered someone so passionate about history.

I wholeheartedly recommend this museum to anyone interested in delving into the past and understanding the heritage of Kikinda. Don’t miss the opportunity to have Milos as your guide; he’ll make your visit an unforgettable educational experience.

Interesting exhibitions. Cool mammoth!

Quite a neat museum with finds from local archaeological finds including the mammoth skeleton. Also interesting pieces from the history of the area. Also has a nice area for the kids.

Very welcoming small place,presenting the best of the local history. Eg., you can really touch the flour still produced here, or observe the excavations, including the remainings, suits, remainings weapons. No need to mention the pearle of the exhibition, Kiki, as she is here to undermine your view on the real importance of the human

The National Museum in Kikinda is a must see. There is an art gallery and a permanent exhibition of local archeological findings, including a full mammoth skeleton called Kika.

Museum that has great exhibitions all year round. This is one of the places you have to visit when you are in Kikinda.

great museum, with amazing workshops for kids! the central piece of the museum is a mammoth skeleton but it would be nice if the archaeological part of the display was a little bit more elaborate (had more space for displaying more artefacts) since Kikinda has a great number of amazing sites from all periods.

The City's Museum features very well preserved bones of Kika, the mammoth and a live size replica, as well. It also has a range of different exhibitions on display throughout the year.

Good museum

Place you have to visit when you come to Kikinda. Has great exibition all year round, where you can learn a lot about city and hole area. You can come with kids, they will love mamuth Kika in real size, simbol of the town. And you can rent bike here,buy nice souvenirs and post cards. All in all great place.

Wonderful collection from the city history and of course, the famous Kika mammoth is kept in special chamber. You could also grab a 3D movie about the mammoth.
