Novi Sad Synagogue

The place of great heritage is turned into a public concert hall. The events are often free to admit. The acoustics of the hall are good but not ideal.

Seats are still authentic benches that are not too comfortable especially for kids. The WC is in a standalone building to the right of the Synagogue.

There is a box in the hall for the maintenance donations, so don't miss it.

Beautiful place to visit. I am blessed to get to see a short performance.

What synagogues miss in terms of murals paintings, they make up for with architecture and stained glass windows. The Novi Sad Synagogue is no exception and charms you with its conventional good-looks. There are no tickets but you’re encouraged to make a donation depending on the size of your group, which we readily did.

A spectacular looking synagogue with beautiful architecture

As a New York jew, I had complicated feelings. A bit sad this is no longer used for services BUT so happy that Serbia and Novi Sad have decided to maintain it. As a concert venue, this may very well be one of my favorite places I've ever seen a concert (it helped that the musicians were fantastic). The acoustics were exceptional. I look forward to visiting again.

Entrance is allowed for donation if security is in good mood. Be polite and friendly to get in, please. Usually the entrance is closed, so you need to ask.

One of the biggest sunagogues in the Balkan. In the center of novi sad. Noce building the offer noce events at night sometimes.

Cultural place, you can visit by permission of security and need to pay around 100 rsd (for donation)

This synagogue is just awesome. It's beautiful. There was some orchestra having a rehearsal when I entered. Jews of Serbia definitely need more that kind of places.

Very nice synagogue preserved in a close to original state

Beautiful place. Generally it is locked but one you approach the guard then he opens the door for you. There are cherry plants in the courtyard of synagogue and me and my wife enjoyed it very much
