The Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection Spomen-zbirka Pavla Beljanskog

A nice, bright gallery with a selection of Serbian artists in different styles on 2 floors. They have inexpensive merchandise: notebooks for 150 din, drawing albums for 300. The ticket costs 100 din, Thursday is free but the gallery opens at 13.

A smaller art museum but still a good collection of contemporary Serbian art. The entrance fee is only 100 din (50 for students and pensioners) and it is free on Thursdays.

I liked it. Especially, since Matica Srpska was mainly closed(except 1st floor) and I needed to consume art. Pavle Beljanski had really good taste, respect!

A truly great collection of Serbia's finest artists' pictures. It's always nice to come here and reflect upon them. The gallery also organizes workshops for children, so feel free to bring them with. If you ever get the urge to go to the toilet, first check if there's any toilet paper left, they don't seem to take good care of that.

One of the most beautiful culture and art places in town, offering permanent and occasional special programme for citizens, including young people and kids! The must for visiting! All recommendations!

Spomen-zbirka Pavla Beljanskog je muzej posvećen jugoslovenskoj modernoj umetnosti prve polovine 20. veka. Nosi naziv po svom osnivaču i darodavcu, Pavlu Beljanskom, diplomati i kolekcionaru. Pavle Beljanski je zadužio srpski narod, naročito zahvaljujući retkoj i posebnoj ljubavi prema sakupljanju umetničkih dela.

Danas zbirka ima 184 dela 36 autora – slika, skulptura, crteža i tapiserija. Zbirka započinje delima prve generacije modernista, nastavlja se delima najvažnijih predstavnika naše umetnosti između dva svetska rata, kao i radovima stvaralaca druge polovine 20. veka.

U Spomen-zbirci su izložena remek-dela umetnika poput Nadežde Petrović, Save Šumanovića, Milana Konjovića, Marka Čelebonovića, Petra Dobrovića, Petra Lubarde, Zore Petrović. Takođe možete saznati o životu Pavla Beljanskog i naših najznačajnijih umetnika i umetnica.

Pre otvaranja Galerije u Novom Sadu 1961. godine zbirka je bila izložena u Narodnom muzeju u Somboru od 1945. do 1952. i u Beogradu od 1952. do 1957. u Muzeju grada Beograda.

U suvenirnici možete kupiti monografiju zbirke, reprodukcije, magnete, čestitke, obeleživače ili unikatni nakit inspirisan delima iz kolekcije.
