Had a lovely dinner with a friend here. Beside the romantic atmosphere, they have an excellent wine menu. As you can see,the food looks amazing and it tastes the same. I would highly recommend a late dinner here. The parking is not very friendly and you need to call for a reservation.

Very nice location and food. We took the degustation menu and we really enjoyed every dish. Its a very cute, simple and elegant place. I totally recommend the degustation menu to try different dishes. We loved it .😍

Absolutely great restaurant with very nice service and great food. Opposite the doubletree it’s definitely the must chose / must go. The wine selection is great the waiter very attentive. Creative dishes with lots of flavors. The interior inviting & contemporary which I personally quite liked. I like the spicy mustard so much that I wanted to buy a glass - as they didn’t sell it - they just gave me an extra portion to go :) Love the “out of the box” spirit.

One of the most amazing places I have ever dined . Outstanding service and location . The food was extremely savoury and well plated . The wine selection was also quite varied . Recommend the Grilled Squid and Chicken Breast in Truffle Sauce . A must go if you are ever in Cluj-Napoca.

An excellent culinary experience and perfect wine pairing. Very nicely crafted dishes, professional and friendly service, all really fairly priced. One of the best restaurant I could try while visiting Romania. A huge thank you to Julian who made our evening memorable and shared his passion of Romanian wines.

They've certainly been working on this new menu. It was a pleasure to try the new tapas. The service was exceptional and so was the food.

Fancy restaurant with delicious meals and wine. Discrete location, close to the historical center. Professional and friendly staff. The tuna tartar, shrimp carpaccio an and the gnocchi are highly recommended. So, it is the Sauvignon Blanc "Anca Maria" of the Vladoi family.

Landed there after recommendation, and to my surprise didn’t feel in Romania. The set up is quite matching Western Europe. The food prep is unique, classy and you cannot have it enough. Being a vege I thought it will be tough but not at all. They have something for everybody. Loved the food, the presentation and the service. Only one request - more and more people are allergic to lactose nowadays, would be great to have some additions to menu for lactose intolerant people.

P.s - also took my friends and family in subsequent visit and they simply loved it. Great going guys

Came across this place whilst walking towards another restaurant. Compared to what you find in Cluj this is definitely worth the visit. The staff is professional, service was much better than the other places I've eaten at in Cluj ... good selection of wine, tasty and well presented dishes. For Cluj and compared to many other reviews ... cannot be faulted.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant, surprising on every step. Kind and competent staff, respecting every rules of etiquette and yet confident about the quality and service.

Tasting menu of six dishes on amazingly high level. The dishes are creating a story not only containing the taste, but also introducing the guest to different and quite surprising textures and compositions. Going through the dishes, the level remains really high. Everything on the plate has a good reason to be there and be part of the event. Waiters are explaining every dish, which make the guest waiting to explore it even more.

The wine selection is simply unbelievable. Over 30 pages pages of complete wine menu, containing best quality local wines from Romania and best well-known wines from around the world. Perfect quality glasses and all the equipement for wine decanting and service. Morover, they offer wine tasting menu, a small travel around the wine of some wineries around the world. I chose Tenuta San Guido, perfect as always.

Serving always perfectly on time, not disturbing, just keeping eye on the table. Never empty glass, never too much waiting, never too much/too less talk. Everything on the spot.

This is a must visit in Cluj-Napoca. Prices are very acurate to the service. The place also had live music sometimes, after the dinner definitely worth to try some cigars. I had one of my favourites - Romeo y Julieta, paired with nice Cognac.

I will be definitely visiting Kupaj in the future.

One of the best wines I have ever tried! Staff is profy and friendly. Food was lovely, on the fine dining side.

Nice place, friendly stuff, good food and wine. We tested some wines before choosing one and the manager helped us with some recommendations.
Also, that evening that had a special dish, octopus, and it was delicious.

Very nice place with gastronomic level, the service is charming and very professional, the choice of wine interesting and the presentation for each meal is very high level.

Rarely you find a place to tick all the boxes. Food is absolutely amazing here from starters all the way to the exquisite desserts. Carefully chosen ingredients, amazing flavours and execution. This is Michelin star quality. Don’t miss it if you visit Cluj
