C'est La Vie - Rooftop Restaurant

Wonderful! After reading some mixed reviews we decided to give it a try. It was waaay beyond expectations. EVERYONE was super friendly, helpful and just top notch employees. The food is exceptional and the view is just breathtaking. Run don’t walk! And try it out!

Delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend their Tempura Shrimp and the Beef Tartar. For desert, the 'Dulce de Leche' was top notch. Andrada, the girl who served us was fantastic, she took care of us from the moment we sat down and paid attention to every single detail, making our experience a wonderful one. The location is great and the ambience was good, however one thing I didn't particularly like was one big lights sign advertising 'Sobranie' cigarettes that was near us - it was out of place. Overall a great experience and I will definitely return to try new things on the menu and to eat some shrimp.

Gorgeous Hotel lobby whose beauty reciprocate the same level of energy with a different ambiance to the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and her knowledgable recommendations definitely made the meal choices easier. The Creveti Tempura was full of flavor and beautiful colors, it did not miss. For my main I had the Argentina Ribeye that paired perfectly with the Potato Pave. And I finalized my experience with the delicious New York Roll which, I am currently still thinking about one week later. If you love incredible views, deliciously presented food with Top Tier Atmosphere definitely give C’est La Vie one evening.

Super nice rooftop location. I appreciated their interior design and the glass walls, which give you a different point of view of the city. There's almost a 360 degrees view of the surrounding neighborhood. Service is decent, but not out of the ordinary, food is above average though. Anyhow, this restaurant definitely stands out because of its location more than anything.

Great location, great service, great food, we really had nothing to complain about. The prices are on the pricey side here, but the portions are moderate in size.

As a group of 4, we tried a couple of their menu items. We went there in the late evening.

They brought some complimentary amouse bouche, for us it was some salted butter with bread, very nice.

For drinks, we really liked the Golden Hour. Kneel Down is an actually smoked drink that they bring to the table.

For starters we had some prawns and baby squid, both were delicious. The portions were generous.

For main course, we really liked the beef with foie gras and the white fish fillet, though everything was delicious.

We tried all the desserts, aside from the ice-cream. The most balanced was the Panna Cotta, the Chocolate Mousse was very rich and the Dulce de Leche was awesome, but the portion was quite big and it got too sweet to the end.

Our waitress was great and very efficient, considering they had an almost full house. I didn't really see the other waiters struggling and didn't hear complaints from the other guests.

Waiting times were short, the items came pretty fast to the table (or we were having fun chatting and didn't notice).

This rooftop restaurant was a ten with its atmosphere and decor and most of all the really good food. Plus it was a 💯 thanks to the waiter Darius who was so kind and attentive and smiling.

This restaurant it’s a must if you are in Cluj. The service, the details, the food, all perfect.
And if you want to have a guaranteed perfect dinner ask for Lili to be your waitress

Great night, very good food, the waiter (Ovidiu) was very helpful with the choise of food and wine. The beef with foie gras and the carbonara was amazing. I recommend it 10/10.

Good food and service! If you go for dessert, the chocolate mousse is a winner! The soap 🧼 offered in the bathrooms is amazing.

The food and service are amazing! The location is the best if you want that european feeling, out of this city. We were a group of 6 and we enjoyed the sunset. Andrada, the server, is very cute, so professional and knows very well the menu. I think is the best restaurant in Cluj.

One of the few rooftop restaurants in town, located at the 9th floor with spectacular views of the city. Super classy and posh, delicious food (loved the risotto), respectable and very nice service. Prices are ok for what they offer. Apetizers on the house (smooth homemade butter with greens and homemade bread).

If you're looking for a perfect food experience together with an epic view this is the place you should come to.
Food was excellent and so fresh, especially the seafood.
I tasted the most flavouros mini-burgers with a truffle souce as a starter
For the main course I've had a pork chop which was so appetizing.
I highly recommend the c'est la vie chocolate cake which I had. One of the highlights of our night there.
All in all, worth the dinner we've had there.

A really nice experience.The ambiance and view from the restaurant are very pretty, even better in the evening I think (we were there for lunch). The service was great, our waitress was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations that we ended up choosing. Delicious food paired with a perfect wine. C'est La Vie indeed!:)

I had an amazing experience here. My drinks were amazing - Stefan and Razvan were absolutely amazing bartenders. Lovely bartenders, great drinks. They gave amazing service and drinks - the owner of the hotel is also amazing. I would really recommend this bar and hotel to everyone visiting Cluj.

First time here, it was a surprise. It will be a Hotspot in a very short time. Andrada and Paul did a great job, had always an eye on us and thanks to the chef, who really made a great job. We as food lovers 😋 ❤ all! We took the elevator up, but 100%the stairs down. Lovely place to announce engagement!
