Very cozy, food is delicious. Great place to blow off steam.

Used to come there every morning when I was working nearby. very nice casual traditional Romanian food for local workers. Loveliest people. Coffee is good and affordable. Varied midday lunch offer. Great soups. Best placinte I've had. Especially the urdă și mărar. Prăjitură cu mere is pretty good.

I would usually grab a "Placinta cu telemea" (Pie with cow cheese) from this place as I went to work. I do like it that they make it on a stove and not fried in oil. Usually, they put quite a lot of filling inside, but there are times when they went with less.

They also have a great variety of baked goods which are specifically Romanian. They are usually freshly baked, aside from a few pastries.

Their employees are very welcoming and they also usually wear traditional clothing.

Casa Tarancutei este noul meu loc preferat! Am descoperit-o recent, de când lucrez in apropiere și sunt foarte mulțumită de ei! Au chiar și mic dejun, omleta și cafea la 15-17 lei. Prețuri foarte bune, iar bătrâneii care lucrează acolo sunt amabili și drăguți! Nu e prea mult spațiu înăuntru de stat, dar chiar te simți ca la bunica acasa, e un vibe! Recomand cu drag!🥰

Pt. luat masa în local, sunt locuri puține, dar merită experiența.
Se poate lua la pachet.
