I have nothing bad to say about this place. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, the rooms were very comfortable and clean with all the necessary items on hand.
I am giving my thanks to the personnel, who made sure that our comfort and well being was their priority, and bonus points for the pets, they made our stay extra nice.
The food is amazing, you can tell that the ingredients are natural. I ordered a papanel as desert for almost every dinner, I could not help it.
The surroundings make you feel like you are in a fairytale, very green and cosy.
If we ever go to Maramures again, Pastravaria Alex will be the first to consider.

Trout fish farm, restaurant and dining rooms, the dishes are good and tasty, the place is beautiful, you sit outside at covered tables, there are also places to sit inside the building, the waiters are pleasant and courteous and the service is fast and good, free parking nearby, great pleasure to eat on the edge of flowing water, I recommend the place Warmly and we hope to visit him again.

We only went here to eat which is why I only marked the service and the location. The place is absolutely amazing and the food super tasty. The lady who served us was so nice, so friendly, so jovial and she moved so fast! I really and totally recommended it!

One of the best trout fisheries I have been to. The trout is so fresh and flavourful and the staff is very friendly. The location is perfect in between the mountains tucked away. You need a car to get here but it is worth it

We only had lunch here, and it was such a feast for the senses! The bread is something to die for! Very good food and made from fresh. Lovely staff, clean bathrooms and a waterfall nearby! We will definitely visit again!

This is quite a nice restaurant where you can try some good traditional Romanian food. The Artezean ice cream was delicious. The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere and great service. An unusual thing is that the restaurant has its own waterfall, but this makes your experience even better. The restaurant has its own trout farm and you can observe the fish while enjoying your time in the restaurant. The restaurant also has rooms available, but you might need to make a reservation in advance as this place is quite popular for locals and tourists. You can park your car on the main street, there's plenty of spaces. The prices are reasonable.

delicious food and beautiful location. The fried fish with polenta and garlic sauce is a dish you must try!! Their bread is also heavenly—it’s a shame you can’t buy some for the road. The papanasi are also very very tasty. Just one thing I wish I’d known before going there: the portions are huge 😅

Charming place to have a nice trout meal, with fish swimming right under your nose. Basically they look at you as you eat their siblings :-) the service is very quick, even if there are lots of customers. I had a delicious trout and the papanași were some of the best I ever had. I almost forgot, the bread was made in house and still warm when they brought it in thick slices!

Gorgeous setting, the fish is delicious and the service has character. What more can you ask for will be returning!

We visit family closeby in Mara Mures , Hoteni. We try to eat here at least once during each visit. Parking can be a challenge as this area is very busy with tourists. Great place.

We had a reservation to this location made by my brother and when we got here we were impressed with this property , with its beauty.
Our server Maria was the best helper with a big smile on her face and great suggestions !

Amazing place to have awesome meal with family/friends and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

I have to say this, this place is one of the best places I have ate in Romania. If you happen to drive by do not hesitate to get in there and get something to eat. Trafitional food one of the best I have ate in the country of Romania. More than that the portions are fairly large, definitely got my money's worth. Pur waitress was Mariana, she deserves a raise 100% for her awesome and kind heart. Best customer service.

Just amazing! A place for food and soul! It's so relaxing and beautifull and the food is very good! Across the road is the pool on the hill, pisicina pă Coastă, an amazing location in Mara, Com Desesti, Maramureș County. Big congrats to the owners for this amazing place.

I would say is the best restaurant I've tried in Romania. The food is great and amazingly cheap, the personnel is friendly and the portions really big. I definitely recommend this place and looking forward to come back ❤

Delicious food, but a little pricey

We had the Papanași and they were amazing and very big! They also have a delicious hot chocolate that I heavily recommend to try.
The outdoor dining area looks stunning as well.
If you have the choice to eat here, don’t think twice to pick this restaurant!
