The starting point of the route is the Horse Paddock located 4 km from Cerna town and continues on Arsu Valley – Şaua Mare Peak, Arheuziu Peak – Archizel Peak – Lifante Peak – Pietrele Albe Peak – Mangina Peak – Puturoasa Valley – Paddock
The route is a 13 km circuit with gentle ascents and descents that crosses the peaks on the southern side of the park dotted with steppe glades with rock outcrops, glades that provide wide panoramas over the Cerna Depression and the other southern peaks of the Măcin Mountains. Glades with meadows and rockery alternate with portions of forest and sparse forest.
On this route, the horse-riding tourist follows a dirt road that passes through agricultural and live crops, after which he enters the perimeter of the park where he encounters, as he climbs towards the peak of Arsu, forest-steppe habitats - rarities of downy oak, mojdrean, silver hair and dogwood, steppe meadows and saxicolous associations on pisques. The descent is made among the vineyards of noble vines that cover the basin of the Puturoasa valley.
Along with the unique landscape, tourists have the opportunity to observe along the route species such as: Dobrogean bell (Campanula romanica), Dwarf carob (Dianthus nardiformis), Dediţei (Pulsatilla balcana); endemic butterflies Polia cherrug, Chersotis laeta macini and Chersotis fibriola niculescui; reptiles: Dobrogean tortoise (Testudo graeca ibera), Dobrogean lizard (Lacerta trilineata), Leaf lizard (Ablepharus kitaibelli), Steppe lizard (Podarcis taurica), birds protected at international level - Great mouse (Buteo ruffinus), Stone warbler (Oenanthe isabelina ); mammals: Carpathian deer (Cervus elaphus), stone marten (Martes foina), tree marten (Martes martes), golden jackal (Canis aureus).
Tourists are accompanied by a specialized guide.
