Casa Romaneasca

We went twice in three days, as apparently this is the only restaurant in Brașov where service is good and food is great. Staff isn't all smiles, but they are very helpful and aware trying their best to offer whatever they can to give you a good experience. The food was just stunning. All dishes were absolutely well done, well presented and delicious. It was one of the very few places where our toddler actually ate something in Romania. The decorations for Christmas were lovely too! Music could be better, but considering all the other awful experiences we had in the country that week, that's just a minor detail.

Had a super good time here. Tasty local Romanian food, wine and hospitality. Definitely recommend this to people looking for something authentic

The place is quite big with plenty of seats around - they have a terrace outside where we sat but I believe they also have the inside part. The service was kind and fast, my only criticism is that they kept trying to take my plate even though I haven’t yet finished my dessert. For the main course we’ve ordered the stuffed cabbage which was very tasty and quite a big portion. The dessert was some sort of ice cream cake with some nuts inside - it was okay but way too sweet for my taste. The prices are fair for the quality and service so I’d definitely recommend it.

Nice restaurant, was recommended to me by a local guide during an organised trip. It was quite busy during an August Sunday evening and the food took a bit to arrive but was delicious.

Lovely restaurant with amazing Romanian traditional food in generous portions :) We ate a lot of tasty food for little money. The place is spacious and cozy and the staff is very nice :)

Gorgeous place. Very tasty food and friendly staff.
This is a place I would eat at every day and never get tired of it. We tried the noodles with beef, since then I haven't stopped thinking about them. We tried many things on the menu and everything was superb.

During our stay in Romania, we really enjoyed Romanian cuisine but this place has taken it to the next level- served dishes were truly amazing! Full of flavor and fresh, best one we've had.
What is more, staff was really friendly and helpful.
We really wish we can go back here soon!

A cozy restaurant with polite and professional staff, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Delicious dishes of national cuisine, hearty portions and reasonable prices. If you go to Brasov, you must visit the restaurant!

This is a decent place to get traditional Romanian food, the service was very good, the food was nothing to write home about but it's definitely better than what you get in the tourist center

Very good romanian food, I think is the best place to eat traditional food in Brasov. I love it, and the ambiance is very friendly, good traditional music, the waiters are funny and hospitable.

Good food and a lovely terrace/atmosphere. We tried this place for something different as we had eaten in the main square a few times. The food was very good and so would definitely recommend - the pork ribs and vegetable soup were great!

The service was a little slow, however we expected that when we saw it getting very busy and the waiter's (who were very good) were rushed off their feet)!

I really loved everything I had here. Came for lunch during summer. Food was delicious and plentiful, terrace is very nice, prices are fair, and probably the best service I have received in Romania (and in English), from Robert. All in all, good experience and recommended.
Also to note, they seem to be accomodating with your tastes (I didn't want pork in my dish so they made it without bacon).
For reference, I had a main dish +side +dessert + glass of wine = 70 lei (including 11% tip)

Great local restaurant recommended by our tour guide, who told us he always asks for the porc ribs when he goes there. So we did and they are fantastic! Also the country salad, the lemonade and the dessert, papanaşi, delicious. Really nice waiter who did and effort to talk to us in Spanish

Tasty, and inexpensive. On Friday evening they have live Romanian music.

Best beef soup

Very good food, affordable

We ate here twice within 24 hours it was that good. Everything we had was simply amazing. The Tochitura was the best thing I’ve eaten in Romania. My wife had the traditional vegetable soup which she said was the best she has ever had.

We also had the homemade sausages with beans and it was to die for.

I recommend this restaurant. The food is very good and the prices are very good (For Brasov it was the best restaurant considering the prices in the area). Prompt and efficient service.

Great ambience, helpful staff and good food. We had fried fish and chicken roll. Both Were perfectly cooked.
