Amazing food, portions, and prices! Don’t pass on the papanași (Romanian donut)! This awesome little “mom & pop” cafe came recommended for the best authentic Romanian food in town, and didn’t disappoint. Make sure to go when you have time, since everything is at a standard “European pace” for dining, but don’t miss out when visiting Cluj.

It was a little cold inside, but the Tripe Sour Soup was really worth it.

Same old, same old. Good Romanian food. Portions are huge and you can always take a doggy bag. I ordered ciorba de fasole cu ciolan afumat. Delicious.

Very big portions! 😊 And also very good food. Warm people, with bunch of smiles on their faces. Accesibile by car, bicycle and as pedestrian. 10-15 minutes of walking from Cluj-Napoca city center. Also public transportation near location. Prices are moderate but think about the portions first 😜

Undoubtedly the best place for tripe soup and pork stake in Cluj Napoca.

Probably one of the best traditional Romanian restaurants. It has one if the best traditional tripe soups in the region. Don't let the appearances fool you, the place is delicious if you like or want to try Romanian food (some might find it a bit greasy). Portions are so big, that it's virtually impossible to eat a soup and a second course in one sitting

This place is here since a was a kid. It has an old, kind of communist style, but the food is very good! They taste like home made, the portions are VERY big and the prices are very good. I recommend "Ciorba de burta" (see the image) and the "Papanasi" in the picture it is just half of a portion. If you want to eat good and cheep, definetly go here! (Sundays it is close)

Top quality traditional Romanian restaurant very popular among locals. Don't let the simple look fool you! This is THE place to go in Cluj if you want to taste the real traditional cuisine prepared by awarded chefs. Only one warning: Portions are huge!;-) We had the best "Ciorba de burta" ever!

Great romanian food, maybe the best in town, one of the oldest restaurants in Cluj, but only if you pass by a loundry nearby or on your way home, so you can get rid of all your clothes the minute you leave the place. 5 stars well deserved for the food and fast service.

Simple place with amazing traditional Romanian food! The baba ganoush (salata de vinete) and the soups (ciorba) are to die for! Keep in mind Romanian food is heavy and soups are sour. Also portions are huge and delicious!

Delicious food, definetly on the pricier side but the plates/dishes are huge and they have to be split in two portions. I highly recomment the eggplants salad.

Excellent food, me personally, the pizza is the best but the pasta and the sandwiches are also extraordinary and the staff is very nice.

Best restaurant in town. If you want to have a great meal visit this place. If you want to feel fancy and enjoy the scenery you should find another place. You pay for your food (which is awesome)
