Sunrise Costa de Caparica

Imagine great view to the sea and beach, eating small or big, enjoying great taste with excellent service… and you just have to come here for it.

Great place almost on a beach. Superb food served in creative ways (cataplanas, especialidades, barbecues) + tasty snacks (tostas: mista, tuna).
Very very noce service but...many of them not speaking english (portuguese, spanish).

This place never disappoints! Great fresh fish, octopus salad. Always generous glasses of wine.

Had a great lunch here. It’s quite a popular / busy spot at lunchtime and can be queues but that’s testament to the place I guess.

The veggie soup is great and flavoursome, and the seafood rice main OMG amazing. Also, the serving for one is HUGE. Easily feeds 2 people.

This is a review from Oct 2019. First of staffs are friendly. Food seen cheap compare to Lisbon. 1 l sangria is 8 euro. 1 acarda seafood is 10 euros. I can't finish it my self. Toilet is clean. And the ocean view is amazing... In October no less. From a western EU vacation destination. I see this as a value and well worth restaurant. Are there cheaper alternatives? Sure. But I won't waste more time looking for one and would rather spend my time enjoying the beach.

I would also like to add that I initially just order drinks for the view. The service was good that I stay for the lunch.

Nice friendly waiters, calm atmosphere with easy-to-listen music like.
Fresh and tasty seafood. Extremely big portions, you can easily share it to both of you.

Arroz de Mariscos, seafood with rise is huge portion of 🦐, crabs and other seafood with rise and delicious souse.

Carvoada is grill plate on live 🔥 fire. Is highly recommended to order. It's a food show. Take it!👍

Catapalno it's a big portion of seafood or fish with vegetables grilled and backed in sause. Extremely bug portion for 3-4 people.

We were so happy to find that place, we had a diner here 3 days in a row 😀. Staf very professional,very friendly.
We had fun there. They all speak English, that helps us a lot. Food was amazing.

Great atmosphere- this is always important in beach bars.
Service and waiters have big smile on face makes you “want to order” anything they will propose.
We get only a snack that could be a dinner :)
Sangria mug was also great.

Unfortunately our stay is to short to come back but if I will come back on Caparica beach I will visit this place again.

What an experience... having a grilled Tiger prawn and a typical Portuguese Bacalhau on a kilometers long sandy beach. We really loved and enjoyed in food and in fantastic location.

Visited for dinner as a solo traveler, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! I enjoyed a wonderful evening watching the sun go down from the restaurant veranda, would definitely recommend a visit.

4th time I've been here and food always quite tasty and service really good and fast. One of the best along this coast for me.

Nuno is the best thing about this place - he’s such a pleasant guy to talk to, full of positive vibe and energy. Service from rest of the staff was also very good. I’ve come here 2 days in a row and will definitely return. 😃
We ordered Arroz de marisco, açai bowl, and sangrias with generous portions of fruits.

Very nice food, all looks freshly cooked and helpful staff.

One thing that could be improved is the menu doesn't given the slightest idea what and how good the food is. Invest in some new menus with descriptions and maybe the odd picture.

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Costa da Caparica.
The waiter was so nice and attentive, that even if the food was mediocre, the service would have been worth it.
But the food is great. I had the steak, fried egg, rice and fries combo (can’t remember the name), and the cheesecake for dessert was definitely worth the trip here.

Perfect beach restaurant to have a great time, enjoy some drinks and eat fresh grilled fish. One of the best in Caparica area. Make sure to make a reservation to avoid the queue. Service was on point.

One word; epic. The food was perfectly cooked. It's local Portuguese fare; sea food, fish and meat. Nothing fancy beyond excellent cooking. Who need more. Beach view and such kind and friendly service. Look no further for perfection; it's in the here and the now.

Great service and tasty food. I ate daily fish offer. Got it with bunch of vegetables and potato, really well prepared!
