Such a joy to find this restaurant. An amazing choice of food and drinks that is a rarity in this area. Service was quick but not rushed, staff were polite and very friendly. We had the salted (savoury) pancakes, one vegetarian, one not; both freshly made, tasty and ample portions. I will be back for sure.

We stopped at this lovely restaurant for an unplanned lunch and are so glad we did! The restaurant itself had a great and open atmosphere and is family friendly as it is next to the park. The toasted sandwiches were amazing!! The ingredients were fresh and generous, the bread crispy and flavourful- it was gourmet and great value for money. We will definitely be back to eat our way through their delicious looking menu. Also, thankyou to all the staff for being so friendly and helpful!

They made the pancake gluten free just for me and it was delish!!! I really appreciated the service. My husband had the French toast and the avocado toast - huge portions and very tasty! (Sorry, no pics of his food.)

Our favourite eating place near our cottage. Very cheap prices, excellent food and desserts. We've tried everything vegetarian on the menu. Everything is so good 👍

You must visit this restaurant. Very nice food and friendly stuff. Juices are out of this universe, They put some alien stuff in it which make You will crave them until there is no more space in your belly.

Fabulous healthy food restaurant, with lots of choices, all cooked on the premises and very helpful staff. We have visited many times before and will continue to do so.

A lovely little cafe in the centre of Penela. There is a small inside area, another slightly larger area under a canopy and also an outside area all of which have tables. We visited twice in the middle of the day and had amazing freshly made sandwiches on one day (hard to describe how good they were) and returned later in the week to try the desserts and we were not disappointed. This isn't a place that you'll just stumble upon but it is well worth a visit.

Very good wholesome snacks and drinks. Large portions and good value. Pleasant covered terrace with a modern rustic feel.

Fresh fresh FRESH. I LOVE THIS PLACE. The food is simple, well cooked, yet still creative. Their juices and cocktails are all very well made and delicious, but their sangria is to die for. Great for families as there is a wonderful playground within view of the patio.

Great food, fantastic salads enough for two people, so a takeaway may be necessary.

Despite COVID, I HAD a wonderful relaxing time.
Firstly ViRiDi is implementing the safety regulations, regarding safe distancing, staff using masks, cleaning hands before entering and leaving and the number of clients at any time.
Secondly, as always there is a variety of dishes on the menu to cater to all taste. Food is prepared according to order and the staff are very courteous. The atmosphere today was the kind of festive ambiance I love.
I chose the Vegetarian tosta which came with a salad side dish of tomatoes and lettuce drizzled with balsamic vinegar. The dish was made of toasted grain bread filled to the brim with tomatoes and avocados on a bed of Hummus pate. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was delicious.
The total cost 7 Euros. Amazing experience 💞🙂

A quaint little bar set in the local park. They serve exotic cocktails and organic food (although you don't need to eat) in an open air setting that is quite different from the other bars in town. A great ambience when the weather is warm but I'm not sure what it would be like in winter.
