A Parreirinha de Carnide

This is one of the best food experiences my friends and I had while traveling. This restaurant was a suggestion given by our Setúbal Wine tour guide (Antoni) who got us a table here. Oswald was fantastic and treated us like family. He speaks English well, though the rest of the staff only speaks Portuguese. The food was delicious and he totally put together a great Portuguese menu of bacalhau, porco preto, porco alentejano, papas fritas e mousse chocolate de fogo! Along with plenty of vinho and port digestifs. Great prices, great food, great personality. I recommend this place to any travelers looking to try typical Portuguese dishes. We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant after being rejected from 5 others because we had a small dog with us. It was a great honor to be guests at the restaurant and to be served by Osvaldo. The staff is very friendly, the service is fast, and the prices are incredibly low for Lisbon. The food was local, freshly prepared, and very tasty. Osvaldo gave us great advice on food selection and truly spoiled us. The place is frequented by locals. Thank you Osvaldo!

If you are looking for a true traditional Portuguese cuisine you will be amazed. Great food, very reasonnable prices and a great friendly serrvice. A little remote from the centre but worth the few minutes more to go in this residential area. Other restaurants around as well !

Really amazing restaurant very popular with the locals. Menus are in Portuguese and staff do not speak English, so best to be prepared with at least a few Portuguese phrases and a basic knowledge of typical Portuguese food. High quality food at a good price.

Such a wonderful place, I definitely recommend it to everyone who seeks genuine Portuguese cuisine!

Espaço humilde, mas bastante acolhedor... Staff 5* não há palavras para o vosso atendimento... A comida, só posso dizer que foram os melhores secretos e os melhores lagartos que comi até hoje...sal e grelha no ponto... As batatas caseiras e super saborosas ...
Foi um ponto de passagem para um espetáculo, do qual não nos arrependemos nada... Muito bommmm... Recomendo vivamente...
