The best gastronomic experience I have ever had.Absolutely fabulous. Everything was perfect. The only downside is that I live in the Lisbon area and Portalegre is not exactly just around the corner. But I will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, lovely staff and very clean. Good atmosphere. Very interesting to see all the different wines and old farming and work items that are exhibited on the walls

Great food and wine (traditional Portuguese) and great service in a cozy, unassuming and reasonably priced little spot. Our waiter didn’t speak much English, but he did his best to help us figure out what to order, and we both loved our meals. Would recommend.

Food is amazing! Ask for the specials, don't even bother with the rest of the full menu. The place is cozy and the staff is up there with the best! Also, it may seem a bit expensive, but just send the entries back and, please: ask for the Cider Sangria!!! Still thinking about that drink! And PLEASE MAKE A RESERVATION AT LEAST THE DAY BEFORE! ❤

Maybe the best restaurant in Portalegre, Portugal, great traditional dishes. Outstanding service and a very reasonable price. They try to offer the best experience.

The best food in town! Has a typical portuguese ambiance with quick and helpful staff. The service was great and the food was beyond amazing. The best cooked meat I've had, trust me!

Food was generally really good. The ingredients are clearly well selected and the chef does an incredible job with them.

Delicious food, very calm and relaxed atmosphere, quick and considerate service.
The most difficult part is to choose from a menu so vast and full of promising meals!

Restaurante tradicional de comida alentejana, muito bem elaborada. Escolhemos oara entradas um trio de cogumelos e uma sopa de tomate, estavam ambas irrepreensíveis.
Para prato principal escolhemos secretos com migas de espargos. Estavam otimas, a carne é de grande qualidade.
O serviço é ótimo, dão sugestões e fazem recomendações sobre a comida e as quantidades a pedir.
Recomendações muito honestas.

Ambiente calmo alusivo ao Alentejo. A comida, desde as entradas às sobremesas é simplesmente divinal. Vasta variedade de vinhos. O atendimento foi excelente. Com o Restaurante cheio, houve sempre um acompanhamento cuidado.

Ein sehr uriges, typische portugiesisches Restaurant. Obwohl wir einige sprachliche Barrieren hatten mit wenig Englisch, hat die Kommunikation trotzallem sehr gut funktioniert. Zur Not hilft Google Lena beim Übersetzen 😁.

Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entschleunigend und entspannt. Das Ambiente ist wirklich beeindruckend und das Personal/der Inhaber sind mehr als freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Konzept mit der Open kitchen ist toll und bringt seinen ganz eigenen Flair mit.

Es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an weinen aus der Region.

Das Essen/die Küche ist wirklich ausgefallen und super lecker. Bisher war dies unser bestes essen hier in Portalegre und unserem Urlaub.

Nicht umsonst trägt dieses tolle Restaurant den TripAdvisor recommended Titel.

Um restaurante muito pitoresco, típico português. Apesar de termos tido algumas barreiras linguísticas com pouco inglês, a comunicação funcionou muito bem. Num ápice, o Google Lena ajuda na tradução 😁.

O ambiente é muito desacelerado e descontraído. O ambiente é realmente impressionante e os funcionários / proprietários são mais do que amigáveis e acolhedores.

O conceito de cozinha aberta é ótimo e traz seu próprio talento único.

Existe uma enorme seleção de vinhos da região.

A comida/cozinha é muito requintada e super saborosa. Até agora esta foi a nossa melhor refeição aqui em Portalegre e nas nossas férias.

Não é por acaso que este ótimo restaurante tem o título de recomendado pelo TripAdvisor.

A very quaint, typical Portuguese restaurant. Although we had some language barriers with little English, the communication worked very well. In a pinch, Google Lena helps with the translation 😁.

The atmosphere is very decelerating and relaxed. The ambience is really impressive and the staff/owner are more than friendly and accommodating.

The open kitchen concept is great and brings its own unique flair.

There is a huge selection of wines from the region.

The food/cuisine is really fancy and super tasty. So far this has been our best meal here in Portalegre and on our holiday.

Not for nothing does this great restaurant have the TripAdvisor recommended title.

restaurante com uma decoração típica rústica, com uma bela garrafeira sobretudo alentejana mas não só, e muito bom gosto, excelente carta com pratos de caça, novilho ou porco preto, várias opções, apesar de não ser barato os pratos tem doses generosas tornando a relação qualidade preço boa, staff atencioso e profissional, excelentes entradas e sobremesas. A cereja no topo do bolo é a a música ambiente tradicional, por norma fado, presente num volume muito baixo mas audível, tornando o ambiente mais acolhedor e característico

Fomos calorosamente acolhidos num ambiente muito agradável e sabiamente aconselhados sobre o que comer e beber. Uma agradável experiência. Recomendo vivamente. Para o serviço que prestam o preço é razoável.
