Nice local restaurant in coimbra. Delicious food, good service. We like this restaurant.

Gorgeous outdoor patio with big umbrellas to protect from rain or sun. The cod dishes were spectacular and HUGE-- probably could have shared one between two people but I am glad we tasted both. Server's wine recommendation was great, as was the crepe with orange and cream! Seemed very family-friendly, too

I hate to give out 5 stars (as not to reveal my personal favorite) but this is the only restaurant in Portugal that I keep coming back to. Always fresh fish, always abundant potions. Excellent meat dishes. It’s not a fancy decor kinda place, you could easily skip it walking by, but that is the point. Waiter Pedro remembered me eating there months later.

We absolutely loved the experience. The service was really good. The food was excellent, delicious...... The menu had such a wide selection of dishes to choose from that suits different palates. Prices vary depending on the dish you choose. There are prices to suit every pocket. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a great restaurante with a varied menu. Well priced for the quality. Perfect service. The food is very fresh and executed to perfection. Would eat there everyday if I could!

Excellent Portuguese cuisine, the octopus melts in your mouth. Great quality/price ratio. Pleasant outdoor space. Few tourists.

One of the best resraurants is Coimbra. Very regional food. Price is a bit above average but really worths the extra. Great selection of wines as well. Try anything with cod fish.

I have to be honest: my review of D. Duarte is bias. I've been a customer for more than 15 years and they have managed to keep their standards high. Honest dishes, high quality produce and great staff.

Amazing traditional portuguese food. It's a really good restaurant. Plus the portions are huge so 1 main is usually sufficient for 2 people.

Dom Duarte 2 was a last minute find in our first trip to Portugal; we were unfamiliar with the area and decided to take a risk on quick google search: it worked out well for us! We enjoyed the tradional Portuguese food, the service was excellent, and we had a great time.

A good restaurant. Not a lot of space between tables and the room is not super big either. There is a good variety of food. Prices from 14€ up.

Good food and very friendly staff. The portions are very big and I would definitely recommend ordering a fez dishes to share.

You can order ahead. Has a good eating space that allows the feeling of outdoor although shielded from wind and rain
