Excellent typical Portuguese food. If you want "normal" dishes, without fancy innovations, but tasty and very well made, this is the place to go. Place is cosy and the staff very polite.

Delicious food and big portions. We had a mix of grilled meat served with fried potatoes and portuguese dish containing rice, beans and meat. It is for two persons but it was a lot.

I ate here 2 times now, once alone and once with friends. Atmosphere was great and staff very friendly and helpful. If you don't speak Portuguese it's not a problem, at least one of the staff speaks English. One day I tried a fish dish (one of their specialities with bacalhau) and the other day a meat dish (bife Portuguese). The bife was very nice and the bacalhau was amazing. Will eat here again!

Great place to have a real Portuguese meal. Great food, fairly priced, extremely well prepared dishes. If you are visiting Coimbra, don't miss it. You won't regret!

Para primeira visita estava tudo 5 estrelas, comemos grelhada mista na telha com 5 variedades de carnes, picanha, costeleta do lombo, secretos, bacon, entremeada, salsichas e camarões acompanhado por batata frita e arroz de feijão. Estava muito bom mesmo, ficámos cheios e o senhor ainda veio perguntar se queríamos mais 😊

Restaurante muito acolhedor. Staff incansável e sempre atento.
Já conhecia pelos pratos de carne e peixe, mas o último jantar a base de marisco foi simplesmente divinal. Até o "banal" camarão cozido foi surpreendente. Sapateira recheada com sabe tempero na perfeição.
Não houve tempo nem lembrança para fotos. Os pratos foram os reis da noite.
