I have been going to Riactiva for an incredible 15 years, and it truly feels like a second home to me. The team at Riactiva is simply exceptional! They not only taught me how to windsurf, but also fostered my passion for it, making it one of my major hobbies.

Jaime, in particular, is a true gem. Every time I visit, he goes above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. From renting me the perfect equipment to providing invaluable tips, he has been instrumental in helping me improve my windsurfing skills.

Even during times when I couldn’t visit frequently, I was always welcomed warmly by Jaime, who recognized and remembered me with a smile. Their customer service is unparalleled.

Riactiva is undoubtedly the ultimate destination for water sports in the area. I was so thrilled with their service that I even drove 1 hour from another city just to enjoy their fantastic facilities. My family went out kayaking past week and really enjoyed the experience at Riativa. Jaime is very friendly and easy to schedule with over the phone. He is knowledgeable about the tides and best places to kayak depending on the conditions. I’m looking forward to going back with a group of friends next month.

Me and my girlfriend rented surf boards and wetsuits but due to bad weather we didnt used them and we decided to return them early. Rentier was ok with a refund and we came back next morning when the weather was better.

Such a cool spot with cross shore winds! The staff at Riactiva were super friendly, approachable, chatty, and were ready so sort us with the right equipment for our session. 🤙🏽 I would highly recommend this center as it is located in the perfect spot for all levels. The Lagoon is conveniently shallow enough for beginner lessons and the wind picked up at the perfect time later on in the day for advanced riders to have a blast!

Great staff who really love their job. They are always kind and also very experienced. I can highly recommend this place for people who love watersports. There is a beautiful view on the river which is great for stand up paddling and on the other side is the ocean which great for surfing. Thanks once again for the awesome surfing classes.

This is a great place to learn how to windsurf. You will also meet the best people to share amazing sunsets with.

The owner is super friendly and relaxed. We went there spontaneously to rent some boards and he came into the shop just for us. Prices are fair. We could keep the boards for a nice sunsetsurf and got a nice shower and hot coffee. Explicit recommendation, won’t be my last time here!

Best watersports club in Portugal. Jaime is a gentleman and great adviser who will bring your experience in Portuguese waters to the next level. Best location for beginners and pro's as you have standing area in flat water in front of the location and waves 100 meters away in the other side of the street. This place is still not overcrowded like most of the spots in Lisbon etc

Me and my friends wanted to rent some surfboards spontaneously in pre-season time, so it was hard to find an open surf-school/-rental. James didn’t bother to come into his shop within 20min and let us take the boards and wetsuits till it got dark. And he even checked out the waves on the webcam for us and gave recommendations. I was there today and I found very very welcoming and nice people,definitely recommend it for anybody - also the tide gives a challenge so you can practice in such conditions,you can safely practice any basic manoeuvre, beach/water start for ex.

really nice and casual place, the staff helped us with info about the public transport, and was really supportive, giving a small surf instruction for beginners, even though we only rented. and they lent a bike for us to get a snack at a supermarket.👍

the place is awesome for beginning surfers, no waves and not busy while we were there.
the boards were not in prestine conditions anymore, but totally fine for beginners, the more advanced boards and sails looked excellent.
