Pilgrims Rest

I really loved the evening with Michaela. She was so kind, helpful and friendly. Love it. She also cooked us dinner with desert.
The gardening the house are beautiful The windows have insectprotection.☺ A very homey Pilgrims Rest.

It was amazing, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I got here, A. It’s sooo peaceful, B. The nature is amazing here, c. I had one of the cleanest experiences with the rooms and my bed, also the food Michaela cooked was absolutely great!!! And Michaela was so great, friendly and very helpful bc when I came I had swollen foot and she helped me immediately. Definitely recommend and will come back!!!

Walking the Caminho Portugues, Pilgrims Rest represents an Happiness Oasis of Peace in the Nature where to rest and chill out for a while among the Caminho efforts and struggles! Michaela has been very good to make feel at home! Muito obrigado!

Beautiful hidden gem with a lovely garden. The host made amazing homemade food for us and gave us an incredible relaxing yoga session before sleeping.

Pilgrims Rest is truly an extraordinary place. It's like coming home. I had a pretty bad day walking because of the pain in my leg. I came there and you could feel so welcome. The owners really care about people - they offer you a drink on arrival, we had an excellent barbecue and in the evening we sat and people sang. Such a great night. The house is beautiful and so is the energy there. Also, since I had a problem with my leg, Tom was able to help me with it and I will be forever grateful for that :-) Thanks a lot! Just stopped here for a soup, but can’t say enough great things about it! Beautiful garden, the rooms looked super comfy and the staff member who was there volunteering for the season was j credibly friendly.

The best place where you can spend a night. If you will find yourself nearby, you just have to visit this kingdom

Dear Wencke! My stay at the Pilgrims Rest was one of the best on my Camino 🤩 There was a great dinner coocked by you, drinking wine watching the sunset, clean rooms and a great super power breakfast! Thanks for the great experience ❤

A wonderful place where you can relax, the host is very kind and the food is delicious

One of the most beautiful place to stay on the Camino. Tom and Usha are more than hospitable. But first things first. The house is an old farmhouse which was used as an Artgalerie by Tom's friend. You can watch his wonderful Paintings all over the house. The Garden is beautiful and you can even camp there and watch the stars in the night, if you want.
In the evening Usha and Tom cooked a wonderful nepalese Dinner for us. Afterwards he drove us to the top of the hill for a breathtaking view over the Rio Miño valley.
All in all you have to sleep at least one night in the Pilgrims Rest, because in my eyes it's one of the highlights on the Camino.

Beware Pellegrino! Instead of resting here for a night like you might have planned, you might end up resting here for two weeks, because the people here and this place is such a beautiful place to be.

Eine super tolle Unterkunft für Pilger um sich von der jeweiligen Etappe zu erholen.
Es gibt einen tollen Garten mit Aussicht auf die Berge und zahlreiche Möglichkeiten sich zu entspannen. Die Herberge bietet gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis ein super leckeres Abendessen und Frühstück an.

Location accogliente e rilassante. Spazi comuni e camere molto pulite. Cena con hamburger e verdure home made ottimo. Consigliatissimo per godersi un po di relax al tramonto. Possibilità di vivere a pieno le bellezze del giardino. Complimenti

Der Aufenthalt war klasse. Tom und Michaela haben uns 'die 2 Deutschen' obwohl eigentlich noch geschlossen herzlich empfangen.

Das Essen und der Abend war eundervoll.
