Delicious homemade Portuguese food and super friendly service. This will be my new lunch stop when driving south 😊👌

We got stuck in traffic on the A2, so we decided to come off the motorway and have dinner at Casa Carreira. We couldn't have made a better choice! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. My partner and I have already agreed that we'll make this a permanent stop on our way to and from the Algarve in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

If you are driving this way you just have to stop! Eat with the locals amazing Portuguese food:) we had beans with seafood and pork with clams and potatoes....I was speechless. Operations are big so come hungry :)

Made a pit stop on our way down to Lagos. Despite the language barrier we received great service. We were served a traditional meal - pork and clams served on fries which was extremely delicious. Great atmosphere, great prices and excellent service.

Excellent Portuguese food. Nice service. The person kindly helped us to select an amazing local food. Don't forget to try the wine. It's top level.

We try to stop here as we pass by either on the way to or from Lisbon.
The food is always great and plentiful.
Last night my wife had the pork cheeks and they were amazing.
I had the the black pork which is always great.
It is not fast food so it takes a little while.
The service is always friendly.

Já fui a este restaurante várias vezes a comida é sempre óptima. Espera-se sempre uma pouco mais de tempo mas vale muito a pena. É ter sorte de ter lugar também

Situado próximo da saída de autoestrada A2, visível logo da estrada.
Na frente existe um "parque infantil" para as crianças se "esticarem" um pouco depois de algum tempo enfiadas num carro.
Relativamente ao restaurante é o típico restaurante alentejano - Simples, mas bastante limpo.
O interior tem ar condicionado.
Tem esplanada no exterior.
O pessoal bastante simpatico e atencioso.
Têm wi Fi.
Pedimos 3 doses de bifinhos com cogumelos (para 3 adultos e uma criança), Fomos bem servidos e tudo estava excelente.
Para a sobremesa foi bolo de bolacha, também muito bom (já não fui a tempo de tirar a foto com o prato como foi servido :)).

Una Sosta di passaggio mentre andavamo da Lisbona a Faro ,siamo stati veramente bene oste gentilissimo, piatti enormi,cibo buono e dolci con fette enormi da star male, alla fine ci regalato frutta e latte per il bimbo....davvero gentile. Ah abbiamo speso 50 € in quattro davvero poco
