Vale do Gaio Hotel

Amazing views! The outside area is a dream, but I won't describe it here since photos are worth a thousand words. Great place to spend a calm weekend away from everything. Staff is very friendly, the dogs are ultra friendly. Rooms are probably not the best feature of the hotel, but they are ok, and spacious. Our room suffered from a lack of accessible wall sockets to charge phones (only a single one), but they provide triple socket adapters. The restaurant is one of the main reasons to come here. It's not cheap, but the food is great. Definitely a great stay.

Lovely Pousada, lying next to the reservoir. I went there for dinner with some friends. Recently renovated, making the place very cosy. A varied and tasty Portuguese Menu, with a nice selection of wines. Lovely service. I do recommend you eat here, if you are in the Alcacer do Sal region. I stayed here for one night, 23 years ago and I remember that this was also a very pleasant experience.

incredibly peaceful hotel. Very nice garden and terrace with views of the lake, We went around the lake in our stand up paddles and saw ducks foxes, herons, eagles... the staff was very nice and helpful the hotel has kayaks and bicycles for the guests.

This restaurant is located in a hotel with the same name. It is close to a dam and so you have amazing views over the river. The decoration is also marvellous! Super cosy yet sophisticated. And of course, the food is delicious. A mandatory stop!

You can also spend one (or more) nights at the hotel! You won't regret it!

Accommodating staff, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious meals, peaceful and relaxing pool area, eclectic lounge area with wifi...I could go on and on, I loved this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private getaway in Portugal.

Vale do Gaio é, será sempre, o meu refúgio e uma espécie de segunda casa. Uma segunda casa onde consigo deixar para trás o peso das rotinas e simplesmente ser e estar.
Tem a melhor vista e localização, tem o silêncio interrompido pelo cantar da fauna, tem as pessoas alegres, tem comida maravilhosa e, acima de tudo, tem os cães.
Mal consigo perceber as críticas que fazem, desta existência de animais, uma má experiência. Tenho por certo que, se também eles pudessem deixar reviews às pessoas, nunca o fariam desta forma rude, azeda e, não raras vezes, mesquinha. que são bem melhores do que nós, não tenho dúvidas!
Vale do Gaio não é sucata, é uma coleçao de memórias, muitas delas escolhidas por um amor que já cá não está, mas que permanece nas pequenas coisas que, ao longo da vida que ali viveu, foi selecionando para o Hotel.
Vale do Gaio é paraíso e não cabe em quem só sabe ser inferno !

O sítio perfeito para se aprender a apreciar o barulho do silêncio. Localizado a 15 minutos de Alcácer do Sal, com vista privilegiada para a barragem do vale do gaio é um lugar ideal para relaxar e apreciar a natureza num ambiente de luxo mas relaxado. Os quartos são amplos e com vista para o lago. Já no restaurante as refeições tanto ao almoço como ao jantar estão ao nível dos melhores restaurantes do país sempre acompanhados pelo recebimento do Vasco e do seu staff. Recomendo vivamente.

Vista fantástica sobre a barragem, quarto espaçoso e limpo, jardim e horta biológica, piscina resguardada de vento. Espaços comuns de excelente gosto na decoração e conforto. Sr Helder na recepção a todo o restante pessoal sempre com sorriso e disposto a ajudar. Os cãezinhos são muito sociais e companheiros nos passeios. A Cozinha é Excelenteeeeee era tudo bom, isto porque variamos todos os dias o menu. Sr. Vasco obrigada pelo acolhimento, foram dias maravilhosos com a minha filhota
