We went for lunch. We both don’t eat dairy so we stuck with the executive lunch that was a main plus drinks.

It was delicious. I had the veal with carrot puree and my husband had the cod pasta. The pasta was a bit fishy but not super overpowering. Just a warning if you don’t like fishy things that wouldn’t be the dish for you.

Service was great. Fun decor.

Service was divine and they even approached us with English menus on the tablets. We were given bread after we ordered and they have a lunch deal set menu.

For a Michelin star restaurant the price is acceptable. The food is great. The service is excellent and the wine options are phenomenal. I have visited twice and have enjoyed both.

It’s received Michelin stars for a reason - it’s superb!! The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is beautiful. The food is exceptional. Such an incredible place. We did the tasting menu and were blown away by the creativity and flavors.

For a Michelin star restaurant to have a super reasonably priced lunch menu is almost unbelievable! Add to that there were maybe five people in the restaurant. Excellent service, excellent food! The veal was out of this world!

I really enjoyed my evening here. I got the set menu with the wine pairing, and it was really worth it. Every dish felt like a modern Portuguese take, and the service was 👌. My favorite was the cornbread with basic butter, and the final dessert. Def recommend if you want to have a nice evening filled with food and wine!

Incredible dinner experience. This two Michelin star restaurant has an excellent tasting menu with drink paring option. Noteworthy items were the corn bread, seaweed martini, cod and meat dishes. It is great value and Salpoente is well worth a visit if you’re in Aveiro!! The staff were wonderful too. On our second trip to Portugal we went back to Salpoente and had an equally amazing experience with the new tasting menu. I really enjoyed the octopus course the second time.

Beyond wonderful. As soon as you sit down, a nice glass of bubbles is delivered. We ordered the vegetarian tasting menu and it was fabulous. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE IN AVIERO. Just around the corner from all of the other restaurants and A COMPLETELY BETTER LEVEL. Very reasonable for the price. 5 🌟

Everything was great. The food was amazing.

We had over all a great experience. Food was top quality and the service was excellent. The portions of the tasting menu were good size, you will not go home hungry. I highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Aveiro

This is what a dining experience should be like. We had the chef's tasting menu and it was superb. If your food is this good I feel like your bread basket should be prohibited from being good too. Hot tip: don't eat the bread (it's delicious- you won't have room for the food). I loved everything. Will definitely be back!

It was an amazing experience. Super nice space with comfortable chairs, perfect lightning and chill out music. The food was a rollercoaster of flavours. I had the bacalhau a bras and it was the best I had so far... So creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly and had a lot of knowledge on how the dishes were prepared. In the end I just wished I had met the chef to congratulate him in person. Next time maybe!

Incredible restaurant! Upon arrival we were offered a sparkling wine glass, which was amazing. The whole decor and ambience is just very interesting. The bread is delicious as were the entrées. For our mains we had Arroz de Pato and Fish, both were just remarkable.

Excellent food, service, everything is so nice, we spent a berry unforgettable dinner there, staff was very helpful and the price is very reasonable!! Highly recommend

The decor was kind of kitch and their jazz music selection too loud in the reception area where we waited a while BUT... one of their kitchen staff got in an accident and they explained it too us in the end, which was quite professional. All the waiters were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing (we had the veal and the cod, and shared the low temperature egg). The hazelnut & chocolate dessert was a bit to decadent though. Will return.
