Nice place for your everyday shopping

Been several times for lunch.
1. The place is easy to find by following google maps and you can see the board PINGODOCE from the main road.
2. The place has a wide parking lot for you. So, do not worry for not having a space for your vehicles.
3. This pingodoce has a gas station too if you want to fuel your car, not really the best price but it is okay since you are far from the city centre and other nearby gas station.
4. They has a restaurant inside the building that offer affordable food for lunch and dinner. They have several menu for you to choose (grilled things, sushi, pizza, normal food like carbonara or meat). May be they change the menu everyday but I am not sure. I usually go there on Monday for lunch and I got different menu.
This place is on the left side of the pingodoce after you enter. If you see some people queue, it should be the place. You will see the menu hang on the place for that day. After you choose your menu and have it on your plate, you just need to take water, fruits, etc and pay to the cashier. After you pay, you can choose a table for eating. They have spacious place for the restaurant. It is quite big and there is a lady whom will clean the table.
Do not forget to leave your table clean after eating. You just need to put the things back near the toilet.
Then move the sign of the table, for the lady to clean the table before the next people sit there.
5. They have another restaurant inside the pingodoce next to their bakery, but you need to weight the food after choosing. I never eat there.
6. They have variety and great product inside the supermarket. It is complete. We bought some books there.
7. They receive payment in cash or card.
8. They provid hand sanitizer for the visitors to clean their hands.
9. Do not forget to wear your mask because it is mandatory.

Restaurant is outclass in this Pingodoce. You have many options, just select and you can eat what you want. And also can buy groceries.

Pingo Doce Aveiro is probably the biggest or one of the biggest in Portugal. I have enjoyed buying there every time I've visited it. So, if you like shopping for groceries in big supermarkets, you'll love this one.

Good variety of products compared to other Pingo doce stores. Neat and organized. The seasonal items location or the highlighted sales located in different aisles is a bit confusing at first but one gets used to it.
